He did but it’s all a bit empty isn’t it. He said it for a round of applause after he’d accepted his award. I didn’t hear ANYONE publicly criticise the Brits before the night about the lack of female representation. If any of them had done that I’d have been impressed. But we had a “it’s a shame” comment from Sam Smith and I think that was about it 🙄
 
The only time I've ever watched is when hosted by Ricky G. I only came here to see if the outfits where posted 😂 I usually look online the following day at what everyone was wearing otherwise, couldn't care less about a ton of privileged people having their egos fed
 
What an awful show. I lasted about 20 minutes before turning it off. I love Mo Gilligan but he was out of his depth or something tonight. The Brits seems to be a poisoned chalice in terms of a presenting gig.

I yearn for the 90s when the Brits felt a bit more exciting and an event. Plus I didn’t recognise half the nominees!

Mo is not a great presenter, I don’t know what it is with comedians trying to become “daytime” presenters… it doesn’t work, the pre-watershed comedy doesn’t work and just gets missed!

I don’t think the Brits even need a presenter tbh, it should just be the people doing awards but this year was just crap, so boring. It’s also boring having the same artist nominated for everything and merging awards. Pop / R&B is not one genre, why is it one award? The lack of women is shameful and even worse was Sam Smith calling it out, no hunnnmn you asked for this change and this is what you get - it’s a man’s world!

bleeping arks.. Arks!?? Why can't people just say ASK. It just made him sound so thick, & that teamed with the tit presenting & awkward interview bits..
Urgh. Get in the bleeping bin & take that absolute bleeping weapon Sam Smith too.

I watched purely for Wet Leg as they’re probably the only act I actually like. It’s a poor shadow of what it was sadly

I remember the days in the 90s and 2000s , the brits used to be fun and exciting to watch Ginger spice in that Union Jack dress was the pinnacle so I iconic now it’s just awful and boring. British music is just not what it used to be, and Mo Gilligan can’t present like imagine, getting the act name wrong Sam Smith is an absolute weapon should not be on prime-time TV and I don’t get the big infatuation with Lizzo and what the duck was wet leg
