I’ve not listened in over a week as I was finishing a good audiobook during any listening time I had. Have I missed anything?
Yes!I’ve not listened in over a week as I was finishing a good audiobook during any listening time I had. Have I missed anything?
…. Adil has it all ‘in hand’ .. he told us about ten times during the episodeYes!
Pip and Stella got it together. But Pip got embarassed so she shoved Stella out the back door when Ruth barged in. Stella not impressed and has dumped her.
Anyone think there are financial problems with Grey Gables? Builders constantly not turning up and Ardil fretting about money.
Haven't heard from Usha in ages. Whatever happened to Cathy and her son? It's really irritating isn't it? Makes me think I'm going a little mad sometimes
There are a few just off the top of my head -
As previously mentioned, Lewis.
Dr Richard Lock who moved back a few years ago and rented the Grundy's cottage when Hazel bought it and evicted them. Never mentioned again.
Wayne - Fallon's father. Does he still work as chef at The Bull? So strange she never ever mentions him.
There are websites detailing stuff like this and have family trees etc. Pip is 30, Stella is a bit older, around 40 I think. It's funny you mention ages. I was just thinking as I listened the other day (as a pretty new listener) that I have no idea how old some people are. I gather that Henry is about 10 and George is 18? so that makes Helen and Rob in their late 30s, early 40s? But everyone else. A mystery. Pip and Stella - could be early 20s, could be late 40s. I dunno.
Urgh. Can’t cope with it again. Get that it’s realistic that such a stressful situation would be a trigger but surely they won’t repeat it again.Heavy hints at Helen getting back into an eating disorder. Running twice a day and being fussy about food
One thing I like about The Archers is that storylines can run for decades. The Jill/Fairbrothers storyline was a great example of this. As you say, it's entirely realistic that Helen will revert to controlled eating as it's the only thing she can control at the moment.Urgh. Can’t cope with it again. Wow, this is a great one https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/profiles/2Y60yDPCtjN04jGZdFKSjrs/becky-holden XDThe bbc has a great archers page saying who everyone is. Be warned though, they have pics and they do not match what I had in my head! Sure Helen is in her 40s.
Ben can continue with his degree course and visit Sykesy as a friend, why not. Otherwise, Sykesy should go and live with Jill Archer, they are perfect for each other with their guilt-tripping and manipulation. If he was older I would tend to think George is their son, very similar in outlook and selfishness.Bens future in nursing will be short lived if he doesn’t develop professionally distancing from his patients . Sykesy will find more weakness and guilt Ben out maybe that’s why Ben needs to continue his training who’s going to move into the nursing home or this story line will end once Ben goes. George would be perfect to fill the vacancy.
Is that the dum de dum one? I listened briefly but it was too chaotic. Any recommendations on that front? This is a bit niche, but does anyone listen to any of the fan podcasts? There’s one in particular that goes through hosting line ups at speed and I’m dying for someone to spill the tea
More like she’s struggling with her own lusty feelings.Woah Ruth is being a total witch. I hope Pip gives her the cold shoulder for weeks.
I think Ruth is against her being gay no matter how much she pretends her objections are to do with Stella's age or whatever.
Yep, Ruth should go graze with her friends in the fields ..but .. on this rare occasion you go Pip, exactly the right behaviour and the right choice of words.Woah Ruth is being a total witch. I hope Pip gives her the cold shoulder for weeks.
