George George the child of Cameron and Johnson every dog has his day.
I smell bacon burning if they only new they’ve got an arsonist in there mist George’s go to problem solving is petroleum .👩🏼‍🚒👨‍🚒🐷🐷🙈
 
I can’t cope with brave Helen. So strong, so brave even more annoying when I found out it’s the same actress who did Moira in Corrie (drs receptionist few years ago) I can’t get her annoying ness out of my head now everytime I hear the voice!
 
The Rob storyline is infuriating. He will of course press charges and that would mean Lee wouldn’t ever be able to see his kids in the states as pretty sure you can’t get a visa with a crim conviction related to violence. Here’s my prediction. Rob (or the ghost of Rob as they clearly couldn’t get the actor back) will push everyone to the limit. Most are already there and then (drumroll) . Rob’s body is found and a whodunit ensues. Many motives.

Pat - already ranted about how she would kill him.

Tony- losing plot and doing grounding techniques (second explanation of mindfulness in archers this year … either one of the writers is losing the plot or they recognise that half the world is).

Tom- He’s made reference to how useless he feels, how guilty for not being there and how parents behaviour is reminding him of when John died. He was the one suggesting they go to see him etc.

Lee - threat of not seeing daughters, threat of Helen going through it all again, losing jack etc. strong motives.

Helen - most likely in my view. This and only this will allow me to forgive Helen for all past simpering over the years and prim and proper ness. Most likely suspect BUT I want it to be pat.

Longshots include Natasha (no nonsense), Kirsty (take out some of that whoops- I - married - a - slave - trader rage), Henry (that detention…. Little rebel in the making).

If someone doesn’t kill him I’ll be v surprised. Actor obviously doesn’t want to come back. All those references from pat. Where else can the story line go? Can’t drag parents visits out forever without someone playing Rob.

That is a good shout.
We keep getting these adverts on R4 with Helen - so they are building up to something.
The whole family seem to be a bit deranged just at the thought of Rob so any of them could be capable of shooting him. Johnny? Never features now so quite easy to write out.

oooh what a turn of events this would be. I did wonder at time when Pat came out with killing Rob. I’d like it if he just had a heart attack though and that was the end of it. Not sure that would make the best drama though 😅

Good point about Lee being barred from US, didn’t think of that
 
I just hope whoever does it gets away with it and the listeners know but no one else does. Like Helen just muttering something to herself and never mentioning it again.

Just please please no injustice. I cannot bear wrongful imprisonment storylines or ones where a couple break up needlessly. So infuriating and I never understand why writers insist on doing it.
 
If Rob gets shot by whoever that would be the second of Helen's boyfriends to die like that. Greg being the first. Self inflicted I know.

Yes if Lee gets a conviction he can't go to the US I presume. I can't see him and Helen lasting tbh - the resentment on both sides must be immense.
 
Argh Tony was at it again last night - 'Helen is strong'. How? Completely reliant on her parents for her living and never set foot outside of Ambridge. Being rude and unpleasant doesn't make you 'strong'.
She keeps blaming her entire family for their reactions to Rob - yet she was the one who made him part of their lives.
(Victim blaming I know but it is fiction and it is the ghastly Helen 😂).

A ridiculous idea.
Did you pick up very close to the end when he said to her “I know what you’re like”. Telling her how she feels with subtle bullying thrown in, he has changed, he’s worse.
