If the Archers did a ghost story. This could be the foundation for one .Chelsea and Jazzer learn that Ben had drown in the river earlier in the day trying presumably rescue his beloved dog or did the dog try and rescue him ,so he couldn’t of been there a 7:30 pm .I thought it was odd that Jazzer made a point about the time and it’s was dark. They find out the dog survives but is completely cover in mud. Vince is continuously haunted . Beth phone rings but no one answers .Gill admits after she is found wondering the empty corridors of Grey Gables that she pushed Nigel Pargetter off the roof that night and her malevolent sprite was responsible for tractors turning over fires floods dead dogs car crashes kitchen explosions animal escapes and horse incidents. What she is really upset about is knocking Eddie Grundy’s mirror off his limousine.
Now there’s A Christmas Carol.

Something that has always annoyed me about the David and Ruth archer family is the way they all say ‘okay’. Ruth’s pronunciation doesn’t annoy me as I feel like it is part of her accent but all the others say it the same way. It really annoys me for some reason. Especially with Pip but she annoys me regardless.

Although, one of my favourite non- dramatic storylines of the past was her and Pompous Jude. Can anyone recall why they broke up?

I wouldn’t mind a good affair to liven things up. Harrison and Emma with Fallon tunings into a bit of a snob.

Ah Jude. He was great in a ghastly way. I can't remember exactly why he dumped Pip.
There hasn't been a good affair for ages has there? Adam and Charlie. Lilian and Paul. Remember Roy and Lizzie 😬

Think he ghosted her; he was taking a year off to go travelling, Pip invited herself along but when she arrived at the airport Jude had flown off without her.

I remember the quad bike accident, wasn’t that supposedly Jude’s fault?🤷🏻‍♀️
Not sure if that caused them to split up.

Did Kenton and Jolene have an affair or just get together shortly after he broke things off with Cathy? That was around the time I started listening and Cathy drove me crazy. So whingy.

Yes it is mean spirited, Emma was convincing herself the other night they would be latter day Robin Hoods yet last night she was talking they could get “more money”.

Ludicrous storyline too: their teenage son accuses them of being boring, so to prove they are not boring, Will and Emma decide to steal wood to sell on …. even though it will be soaking wet and will fill rooms with smoke, so aside from the moral implications will be extremely difficult to light.
Emmm ….
