The writers are seriously needing to come up with something to grip the listener.
It's been tit of late, nothing will top the Rob and Helen saga, least of all Peggy bloody Woolley's stained glass window and this Chelsea nonsense.

I mean they could have turned Shula into a serial killer or that other cast member who was going to Plovdiv, Bulgaria to live into The Ambridge Poisoner

The Helen and Rob storyline was so well done in real time. Just such a slow creeping story of coersive control. Little tiny hints of it dropped in every few episodes. Rob saying 'I really prefer you in that other dress' and Helen taking it that he cared, then hiding things from her like car keys and blaming it on her poor memory. And isolating her.
Quite horrifying and compulsive listening.
