It all seems ridiculously set up to fail as you say. In reality both teams should be consulting and working together to make a coherent end product. You would think that they would be communicating by phone all the time. The Apprentice candidates seem like GCSE students working on a project to me. The tasks seem so basic yet they make simple mistakes all the time. They're so keen to boast about their contributions and torn on each other when things go wrong. They don't come across as intelligent adults at all.
But I think that is to do with the tasks. They seem more staged somehow than ever, like they're spoonfed what to do, and they are set up to fail by always splitting the team in half so they don't know what the others are doing and the outcome is all disjointed. The editing seems to be done in a way that makes them look incredibly stupid, until the last weeks where suddenly they're absolute geniuses that can do no wrong.
It might be because I've stopped paying attention but I really didn't understand the point of this week's task with the pod car thingies!
Yeah, I think they’re only allowed 1 phone call and it’s always so quick. I get the impression everything is time critical and as someone said, they’re pretty much set up to fail. Otherwise it wouldn’t be very good tv I suppose. It all seems ridiculously set up to fail as you say. In reality both teams should be consulting and working together to make a coherent end product. Both teams didn't appear to understand the brief at all this week. Akim only won because Sophie's idea was so terrible.
This was the week they really should have gone for the eco green angle.
If I was travelling in a driverless car the last thing I'd want was bloody karaoke. can't think of anything worse!
I like him too! I think he must have been given a bad edit. He won’t win but he seems sweet.Probably in my own here but I really like Akeem, think he is so nice and sweet, but I don’t think he is cut out for business. Doesn’t seem cut throat enough. Wonder what his business plan is!
Glad Sophie went I even felt sorry for Akshay and pleased Lord Sugar could see she was trying to through him under the busI like him too! I think he must have been given a bad edit. He won’t win but he seems sweet.
I even found myself feeling sorry for Akshay this week when Sophie blatantly just picked him because she doesn’t like him.
I think I’ve finally learnt all their names now
I know he’s dumb as a box of hammers but something about him gives me fanny fluttersI do laugh in surprise in a lot of what Nick says had to Google to check he was the right person.
Agreed but this made me laughGod im glad Sophie and her resting witch face are gone. Mardy cow

I think it’s because I know I could boss him about and have him under my thumbI feel the same, you can tell he’s just a genuinely nice guy, but that’s his downfall. Being nice and a people pleaser in a cut-throat business setting doesn’t cut it.
Oh god noooo I get serial killer vibes from him. Like the type of guy who says “I love you” after one date.
I prefer when it was competing for an actual job. Seemed more fair then?
I feel that this year more than any, it seems to be 2-3 decent business plans and 9-10 chancers who want insta fame. This years batch has to be the worst EVER. They're all so thick. Also, no characters this year. They all seem very unlikeable.
