Am I the only one who likes Marnie?! I had a quick look on her Instagram last night and liked her even more!
No I quite like her too. Think she needs to do some work on her business idea thoughAm I the only one who likes Marnie?! I had a quick look on her Instagram last night and liked her even more!
Every candidate seems to be dreadful. I don't know why it's always the women making it to the final because they're also crap as well, but if we had men in the final then we'd definitely have more variety than sweets and hair! When this show first started the men always dominated, but in the last few years the men have been really poor and the women are making it to the end.
Does anyone have a theory on why this is?
Yes I agree the quality has really gone down but why are the men so weak now?Every candidate seems to be dreadful. I remember when previous contestants actually understood business, like back when Susan Ma was in it. Now there are people who don't even understand the numbers or the diff between turnover and profit!
BBC is full on woke. They would have made sure of an all female final. You can’t tell me Simba was as tit as the 5 who were left.Yes I agree the quality has really gone down but why are the men so weak now?
When the series first started the women would be sidelined and often ignored by the men. They had to work really hard to be noticed and respected. Now we have the opposite where the women dominate the men and don't listen to them at all. I find it really strange.
I liked Simba and thought he was unfairly sent packing. No idea if his business plan was any good or not but its hard to believe it was worse than some of the othersBBC is full on woke. They would have made sure of an all female final. You can’t tell me Simba was as tit as the 5 who were left.
It's the law diminishing returns in reality TV.Marnie is the only credible winner, even though I don’t like her. She has gone for a non “girly” basic idea to something that is different, although not too unusual. They ripped her business plan apart but presumably it passed muster for the Sport England process so it can’t have been that bad.
These candidates have been woeful. Someone upthread mentioned Susan Ma. Look at her business Tropic Skincare. Can you imagine her going into the boardroom with sink plunger lips and dreaming of mermaids. They are not credible business people. They are an embarrassment. Look at that Scottish guy dropped for being pissed thinking he is the big man because he was on telly. That’s all he wanted, to be on telly. It has become another entry into fame. They are not leaders unless you count running a bank of phones in a call centre.
Oh for the days of Ruth Badger and all the other stellar characters the show has thrown up over the years. Identikit numpties forever now I fear.

She probably did put her business plan together in a bout two weeks as she was lined up for Love Island before this popped up. She even said to Karen she didn’t expect to get as far as she did, probably because she knew she wasn’t a business woman but a wannabe influencer who would do reality tv to boost her numbers. She’ll definitely go down that route now.The fact that Dani didn’t even know what a USP was and used a business plan template that she forgot to edit the NDA from is so irritating as a viewer
Sweets, cake, hair and fillers is a bit depressing isn't it. That's part of why I like Marnie, her business isn't just anti feminist guff. And also she's very well accomplished, having passed the bar and that. I like that she's really confident as well in herself without yes being an identikit filler and botox barbie
I wonder how long after he series did Sir Alan actually invest in Susan Ma’s business. She didn’t even make it to the final if I remember rightly
Agreed, it's like going back in time in terms of female representation.I know, it’s a shame after such good representation of females in business in the older series (and some of the newer ones)..women who worked in the construction sector etc. now it’s all sweet shops and crap hair salons
Jacqueline Gold died. She would have been a better adviser than Bradey. Baroness Bradey to me.
