When is Carlos‘ next match? For some reason I’ve been unable to find much useful information about the Olympic tennis schedule.
But again, they really need to give the tennis players more time for the Olympics. Singles in week 1, doubles and mixed in week 2. This is insane. Those players who actually want to play there, really want it and are willing to play doubles and mixed to have more chances at winning medals. Why ruin that?

exactly. surely the schedule easily works for this?!

i find the bbc scheduler really useful if you go to their sports page - go to schedule and then filter by sport.

I can tell you, seeing him for the first time on Sunday was the most incredible experience. But not just seeing him, it was also the atmosphere - people being in awe when he walked onto the court, everybody cheering him on, chanting his name. And you could tell that it meant a lot to him too. Sad that he’s leaving the Olympics without a medal, but I’m happy he had that great moment during the opening ceremony and some great matches.

He has so much fight in him left, but it’s depressing that his body has let him down. The level of play he can still achieve at times is unbelievable and a minute later you can tell he can’t run to the net anymore
