Tennis #3 🎾

Anyone else wondering if Andy got an invite for the torch speedboat? You'd think he would for retirement and a double gold singles Olympian. But the team boat seems more his scene.

At least they put a second roof on the courts there for the Olympics!

He was with Tom Daly and Helen Glover who were torch bearers and I think it’s more his scene to stick with his team mates.

I love this. Look at his little face. ❤️

So, De Minaur has withdrawn from singles and has been replaced by Francisco Cabral who hasn't played a singles match since the 27th of March 2022. That could change though depending on whether Rafa withdraws or not.

Looks like Rafa's playing. He hasn't appeared on the list of withdrawals and has practiced today.

He's not happy with the schedule/quick turnaround. It might have been smarter for him to concentrate on doubles where he maybe has a better chance of a medal, but we'll see. I'd never count Rafa out on clay - especially not at Roland Garros. I just hope his body holds up.

I'd rather he binned the singles and concentrated on the doubles. I don't think he's fit enough to win the singles, but he's got a better chance of a medal in the doubles with Carlitos.
