Great moment although Rafa on the freaking boat getting absolutely drenched in the rain made my heart sink. You’re supposed to play doubles tomorrow my man!RAFA WITH THE TORCH
Is there no red button going on?I could be wrong but when I check the schedule for today it doesn’t look like the BBC is showing any tennis apart from Nadal/Alcaraz dream team at 6pm BST. Such a shame, there’s so many matches I wanted to see today including 4 Brits.
I honestly don't know what I'm doing. I've got Eurosport, so I've got options, but I don't know whether anyone is showing everything! I don't have Eurosport online (now Discovery+) anymore, but I'm wondering whether I need to subscribe to get full coverage of everything, rather than just relying on what each channel is showing? They have one Olympics extra stream but on this page there is no tennis listed - apart from the men’s doubles - between iPlayer and main channel.
I think Eurosport is part of the Discovery network now so I think they have some coverage. But I also don’t know so take that with a pinch of salt.I honestly don't know what I'm doing. Eurosport and Discovery+ are part of the same company. My issue is that I have Eurosport on my TV, but no longer have an online subscription, which lets you choose to watch events not being shown on the TV coverage.I think Eurosport is part of the Discovery network now so I think they have some coverage. As I understand it, Discovery has the full rights. They will show everything. I don’t have Sky or any kind of TV package / subscription service so all I have available is BBC and therefore quite limited coverage tbh.
At the moment Discovery are doing a promo offer where you can sign up for their standard plan (usually 6.99) for 3.99 to access the Olympic coverage, so that’s what I’ll be doing. It’s annoying but that’s just how things are now.
Oh that’s a shame. Having the coverage split between multiple places makes it hard to follow. I’ve just signed up for the special offer and put the Discovery app on my TV and tablet. Not happy about giving the company my money but what can you do I’ll cancel it when the games are over. I need to be able to watch the tennis!Eurosport and Discovery+ are part of the same company.
