Not only did he have an easy draw, he can now rest before facing either Fritz or Musetti, both of whom he’ll destroy 😩 final against Carlos or Daniil where I HOPE he’ll lose. But I can already see his smug face when applauding himself for getting to the final despite that injury 🙄 god he annoys me so much
 
I know there’s ranking points and prize money to consider, but I sometimes wish players who know they’ve picked up an injury just retired before the end of the match. Imagine paying hundreds of pounds for a day out on centre court, some people potentially first time ever and you see one women’s match, a mixed doubles and an invitation doubles. I can’t say I wouldn’t be really disappointed. It messes up the play as well, Djokovic is going into a semi final with several days off versus Musetti or Fritz playing for hours today, and both would have already been the underdogs going into a semi with him.

I think Svitolina wanted it too badly and that sometimes goes against them.

That's the Russian dead behind the eyes look. Kalinskaya has it too. Many of them have it.
