She’d be entitled to it until Harlow was 2 and the she’d have to look for part time work. I don’t think she’s on UC anyway, Brett seems to earn a decent amount so if she was entitled to it there’d be barely anything coming in from that. I don’t think she ever began claiming after they split up cos let’s face it he got cosy in the bed again quick enough 😂
I assumed if you're out of work but able to work you'd be put on job seekers. 🙈 it's nice if UC is available to those wishing to stay home with young babies though.

Good point about Brett's income, though.

You can still receive UC if you do work, it’ll top up what you don’t earn on bad months if that makes sense? You’re right in saying the earnings are reported straight from HMRC though, not sure how people get around not disclosing they have a job. Not sure if UC receive the HMRC reports unless you declare you’re working. I think because she’s “self employed” and her earnings aren’t technically from a legit company with legit proceedings around wage slips, I doubt HMRC even know.
I thought beings they take inheritance and gifted money into account (that's what I've heard so correct me if I'm wrong) then they'd have access to people's bank accounts. Do they just rely on people declaring income?

I feel like Charlie must get some money from somewhere even before laxilattes. She was always buying those doll dresses for Harlow and I can't see Brett paying out for them?

Yeah they just rely on declaring income and PAYE schemes from employers. When you sign up they do ask to see bank statements though. An influencer I follow on here Lauryn Goodman got done for benefit fraud last year 😂 tbh Charlie wouldn’t even have a clue how to sign up for benefits and many landlords don’t allow HB, in fact almost 0, so they obviously just had Brett’s income before, maybe her parents give her money too. But if she was really rich, she wouldn’t be desperate and begging for people to buy into her MLM crap. Being able to buy something one month isn’t affording it

Noooooo I’m actually infuriated😳. I’ve worked straight since leaving school trying to better myself and then had my son. First car a 55 plate ford KA for £500, going without for my son, always done things by the book and you get little scruffs like Charlie getting things handed to her on a plate. Get a f*cking job you scruffy little bum! Can’t wait to see the day that she’s in the gutter with f*ck all to her name!
Mine was a 52 plate Ka it was 7 years ago now though! And have 2 reasonable sized 5 door cars between me and my husband now, it does infuriate me I've spend the last few years working, studying and completing a degree as well as running a house and looking after my 2 kids, as well as doing 1 year of those on maternity all the better our life! She doesnt know a days hard work if it hit her in the face!!

Why would she be entitled to universal credit until Harlow is 2?
I'm thought it replaced the dole and tax credits etc so she would be entitled to the same regardless of Harlows age?

If u read the whole sentence the person said once Harlow is 2 Charlie would need to look for work, otherwise she won’t be entitled to it

Plus not forgetting the main point in the teen mom franchise is to prevent teen pregnancies.
All she is doing is say whoo hoo look at me I had a baby young and now sit on my arse selling coffee and juice from my phone while begging for stuff on insta and buying designer stuff....be like me!
I was a teen mother I’m not slating that but I also wouldn’t encourage it either.
Guarantee she’ll still be on the claim as well. Don’t you have to be registered with companies house to have a business? Or is that not the case for an mlm?

you don’t have to register with companies house unless you’re a limited business which I doubt highly that she is. I know this because I used to work as a trainee accountant until i gave it up as I found it boring as hell 🤣 and my other half runs a business but he’s a sole trader so not on companies house. A sole trader is still as much of a business as a limited company in that they still have to declare their earnings and submit a tax return etc. You can do it yourself online or have an accountant do it - personally my other half uses an accountant to make sure it’s definitely all legit. A limited company will also still have to do a tax return however their accounts are published on companies house for all to see. Being a limited company has nothing to do with earning over a certain amount, it’s all about liability if something goes wrong. A sole trader will be liable for debts incurred by the business, in a limited company the person running the business only has limited liability.

Just thought I’d clear that up as although I think Charlie’s business is a sack of tit, it would be wrong for us all to sit here and accuse her of not doing legit accounts /paying tax/ declaring income just because she’s not on companies house. She doesn’t have to be.

Absolutely. She is deluded to think she will be driving quickly. That car will sit there for months, so why the hell would you buy a car in this situation when you can't even drive? Well thats dear Charlie for you, who thinks she is gods gift and better than everyone else, when in reality, she is one of the most uneducated people I have ever come across.

she also definitely won’t think to go and start it every now and again and leave it running. So by the time she can actually drive it she’ll have a dead battery anyway 🤣🤣 she’ll probably then buy a whole new car

Ah yes, I get it now. I should have known really as my company I work for is a small business and has been registered since day one, I didn’t think of sole traders. I’m also doing accounts so have loads to learn! 😳

I thought when you're on universal credit it's adjusted to how much income you have so if she was having money going into her bank wouldn't they know about it? As in income from the coffee? Would she even still be entitled to universal credit since there technically isn't a reason she can't work?
If she is using nationwide which I'm sure I saw a post on her story with the details of it then uc don't know about that bank account. I explained people use nationwide to hide extra money as its a building society. Normally I'd say mums gotta do what they do to provide for their kids but she's just spending it on herself.

If anyone ever suspects what you are telling them isn't true then they request statements and proof n if u refuse, they get a court order. If you've lied that's when you get fined n owe all the money. UC know about your earnings through your national insurance number n if you are ona payroll (which I assume Charlie is not) Probably gets transferred to her nationwide bank direct as its just commission she gets.

Everyone gets found out in the end especially if someone reports her

I think even from what was shown on tv that Brett was just the money maker and when it comes to Harlow he doesn’t really have a say in what she wears and stuff because I’ve noticed when he was at his mums house she was never in dresses as if they had their own clothes for her

I don’t remember her posting anything about it nationwide, Brett did a few weeks back

When she first started this "business" people putting orders in had to transfer to her bank. N it was nationwide. I think about 6/7 threads ago.

I dont know how they get away with it. I dont know much about it but from what I've heard on here , its crazy that it's still being sold.

Harlow probably isn’t always dressed in those type of clothes. There obviously what Charlie likes so that’s what she takes pics of her in and uploads to insta. For example, I’ve seen pics of harlow in a tracksuit etc

She’s not doing anything wrong though. None of us know if she gets universal credit. Obviously when Brett was living there they would not have been entitled to it. You’re allowed to earn a certain amount of money before having to declare yourself a sole trader.
