Remember the days when selling your body was a last resort and something women reallly didn’t want to do but did because they were at rock bottom and had no other option? I hate that people are glorifying something so undignified that has tormented so many women for years. I’m so sick of seeing people say “it’s 2021” as if that’s a good enough reason to have no class or self respect. Yes empower women but that doesn’t mean empower them to sell their bodies.. honestly it is so wrong to encourage this. She is only in her 20’s has barely lived an actual life.. it’s sad that this is made out to be a good thing. She hasn’t tried to actually work or gain a career, she has just chosen the easiest route into fast cash, where is her ambition? Where is her self respect?? Where’s her need to improve her life for the sake of her child?? It’s so so wrong.

Has she “got” to do it though?

I wish I could like this 1000 times!
Charlie hasn't shown any interest in getting a career and has only resorted to MLM because she was told it would earn her millions and now selling pictures of her body because of the allure of money. She's got no respect for herself in either of her money making schemes.

I can't imagine her making much from it tbh she's too shy to even do talking storys and when she has done a rare talking ad she looks uncomfortable. She isn't gonna make much for just underwear selfies on onlyfans when there's thousands to compete with. I don't see her having the confidence to post nudes or do videos which is what is gonna make the money

omg I had no idea it was an MLM! Ffs should be illegal alongside all the other ones. All the others are absolutely scummy as it is, always aimed at the vulnerable or skint mothers, but to groom other women into prostituting themselves under the guise of being liberated and independent when they are at a low point, to line your own pockets is vile. Pure misogyny dressed up as women supporting women and oh so edgy.

I agree with this to an extent, don’t bash all sex workers because of Charlie though.. for years women have been sexualised without consent, stuff like this puts the ball into the woman’s court.. women participating in porn, sex, sex work and sharing their own nudes should not be a taboo, women can like sex just as much as a man and that’s ok

However I do agree she is doing it because she has no motivation to go and get a standard job and not because she actually wants a career out of it

you can't buy consent though. Women liking consensual sex is amazing and what you'd want for every woman. Needing to do something for money isn't really consensual and it also gives men the wrong idea - they think porn is real and sex workers who are doing a job are showing a standard they then expect of all women. The unwanted sexualisation of all women becomes worse than ever because of these ideas and male judgement. The men who do it think they are justified cos they 've had the privilege of benefiting from women they or other men have paid for or exploited. It's just tit all round

I completely see what you’re saying, and do agree.. it’s definitely tit all around, women always seem to end up on the crappy end of the stick.. I suppose a lot of women see it now is their looking anyway, may as well make them out for it type of thing

This 👆🏻 I always got back to (not sure if it was on here or Alysha? Instagram) who mentioned she did some work with that company Charlie always promotes and how horrible the company and the men who use it where too her.
Also I’m sure there’s been a number of times woman who have been part of the porn Industy for a couple of years and then try and leave it mention how poorly treated they were even if they were big in the world of porn and how even know it’s used against them when they try and live a normal life.

I do get maybe sometimes there are women that do want to go in that industry need to be protected and the only way that would happen is if it is normalised but I can’t see it being fully normalised as a good thing.
The industry misleads both boys and girls at a young age and the likes of OF does glamourised it as easy money to make to have that Instagram influencer life and to be honestly I’ve mostly seen it’s vulnerable people that are likely end up doing sex work and most of the time they don’t see it as that!

I remember coming across a girl who was cheating on her with lads she met on tinder and she was sleeping with them. She seen this as ok because she was getting fed, given gifts, drugs, alcohol etc and in a way was selling herself to these men but she kept saying “I’m not prostituting, I don’t get given money” but yeah you basically are by being given other things.

I keep thinking back to 🤔 if it gets fully normalised then the vulnerable would probably get more exploited and thinking of this situation it’ll be harder to explain or show the girl in that situation how it’s not right.
