In our experience, the mother's family siding with the father's perspective really helped as it showed she had no support network

No way would any court stop her moving. They basically never stop anyone from moving inside the same country, they just ensure there is a plan for the child to still see the other parent.

I’m so glad Brett is getting so much support and also from Charlie’s family. I noticed on this occasion none of her friends stepped in to try justify her stupidity, the only person ass kissing again is Huggins on that live. Charlie was so rude and smug on that live it was disgusting!

it was coming across in the live that Brett would have to do the drive, also with the screenshot with the message from oli saying he does the drive every weekend...it’s his choice to drive 300miles not Bretts. Brett doesn’t want his only child living so far away! I don’t think Harlow would want to sit in a car for 600miles a week either!

They absolutely can and do. It's called a prohibited steps order to stop the move, or a specific issue order if the move is allowed. It can be very controlled by the court, just depends on how strong his case is and how good he's represented

I know they do have the power to do so, however in my experience they would not do this for a father who had the child 2 nights a month (and a grandmother that has the baby 4 nights a month) when Charlie is offering to still maintain that amount of contact.
If Brett had more overnights, if Harlow was settled at school, or if Charlie had repeatedly moved unsettling Harlow etc- these would be different circumstances.

In that case, our experiences differ wildly. In my experience, 2 older children were removed from their mother due to her toxic and questionable behaviours. They were taken from their home area, school, friends and their mother only offered 6 nights per month despite being their primary care giver for 10 years and their father/extended family having them every other weekend.

They have also included various recitals and PSO to limit what the mother can do. So Charlie might very well be told she cannot leave Harlow in Oli's care at any time so Harlow isn't put at risk when Charlie goes out and does balloons on barracks.

As I said, it depends on how strong his case is and how good his representation is.
