I used to regularly run like half marathons all the time. I had to stop as I toremy ACL (so painful) ended up having multiple surgeries etc, anyway my point is I have started up running again & can only manage 5 miles after building up slow & steady.
why do people lie? Like running isn’t that easy you can’t just go straight in with 5 miles after a week. She must think we are totally stupid
I started running properly in May time and I can just about manage 1.5 miles. This is after not even being able to manage 1 minute. Not a chance she’s running 5 miles, 5k at a push but that’s still just over 3 miles. Running is a real commitment and dedication and you have to look after yourself. I have Achilles tendinitis, have to invest in physio to help combat. It’s a sport that people do out of of passion, it’s not going to solve all her weight loss dreams either. Don’t want to derail but I just hare people bullshitting because it can make others (thousands of impressionable followers) feel like tit.
