So Ste could see his kids but Amber said no. So she doesn't want him in her house at all because it will lead him on? Sounds like they still haven't learned boundaries with each other or effective communication which would have made it possible for Ste to stay during lockdown. Amber turned his offer down so he made the choice to support his Dad during this time who also needed help. I don't think we have the full story here but from what I'm seeing, Ste did the best he could. We don't know his Dad's situation either and maybe Ste was worried and confused about all the rules on what is and isn't acceptable to do.

It's childish of Amber's mum to put that all over Facebook. Amber may well be venting to her mum about it but for her mum to turn around and air that all on social media isn't helping anyone. Sounds like another manipulative shot at Ste to call him out and use his emotional immaturity against him to make him change.

I think the only Butler woman that likes Ste is Amber's nan, Margaret (I think that's her name). She was shocked when she heard the drama surrounding Ste and said "he never talks to me like that".

The virus hasn’t buggered off for the day so ste can see the kids and if it was the case of him just standing at the door or looking through the window like someone else mentioned then why hasn’t he been able to do that in the past few weeks if it’s ok for him to do it on the birthday.

As for the ‘smashing someone’s head in’ thats disgusting, he needs to stop holding on to the past and move on now with his life. He’s not a bad looking bloke and he seems to have some sort of anger issues but he can easily work on that.

What I don’t understand with this is, apparently Ste was fine with the kids going to his dads during first and second lockdown. Amber said he’s only saying no during this lockdown which isn’t making any sense to me. Like if his dads shielding then Ste shouldn’t really be going out anyway because he could be taking the virus home to his dad. Like me and all my family go out and get my nans shopping then leaving it at her done and run away to make sure we don’t spread anything.
i do think we are getting half a story but Ste can’t just pic and choose when Covid has a day off

I think people are so quick to jump down baby dads throats when we don’t know the full story. Amber admitted that she said no to Steve staying with them and she admitted he misses them loads and he takes them out and stuff. His dad doesn’t look the best health when he was on the show so obviously he wants to protect his dad. He’s probably the best dad I’ve seen on the show I don’t think he’d be choosing not to see them. Ambers mum is pathetic and caused such a drama for no reason. I’d be furious with my mum if she did this and I’m not even a public figure! She knows how much attention and drama it will bring.

The fact that she had to put 'this isn't about me' says it all. We know it's not about you Amanda! I wouldn't tell my mum anything if this is how she reacts. Amber is venting and speaking to her in confidence and her mum turns around and starts blasting it on social media. Complete break of trust in my opinion. And we say Amber and Ste need boundaries?

I agree with this, pathetic for Amanda to be airing it on her Facebook to make ste look bad and cause even more animosity! Ste's dad seemed lovely on the show, we have it rammed down our throats to protect the vulnerable and ste is trying to do the right thing by his dad. I get amber not wanting ste there full time as well so something has to give, it's not Amanda's business and up to amber and ste to act like adults and sort it out between them, so many people are in awkward situations cause of this virus. It's not like ste is out partying and ignoring his kids completely.
 
Ste and Amber are as bad as each other IMO.

Ree’s baby being called Francesca makes sense with Megan mentioning that she thought about that name when she was having McKenzie. Anyone remember the date she said that? Was it before or after Pancake lady made an appearance? maybe Ree was raging Megan indirectly revealed the name with a little dig and voila, pancake lady was born 😂

Sounds a lot like Amanda should keep her mouth shut. Regardless of whether that's her opinion on Ste, she shouldn't be posting it in the public domain! It's not her dirty laundry to air.

Ste's done some insta stories this morning about "being the only one to want to give kids that sort of life" with some quotes attached etc.

We're probably not getting the whole story but in my opinion it's definitely not for Amanda to start posting about. No wonder Amber has such a rubbish relationship with Ste if her own role model, her Mum, comes out with stuff like that.

i have a feeling she may have meant something else but worded it quite badly, like for example i know someone who has 3 children, ones her first born and absolutely saved her, the middle one is hilarious and so special, and the third is the boy she’s always wanted - she loves them all equally, but differently if that makes sense - i think this is what reeane may have been getting at, but worded it very poorly
 
On ste’s live, I’m sorry but we definitely don’t have the full story. I feel bad for him. He said that Amber and her family break the rules and have people going back and fourth from her house, and he can’t be risking his dads health.
That he wants to see Brooklyn on his birthday because he can’t not see him as it will break his heart.
He is following the rules and trying to lower the risk of spreading it (which time and time again people are breaking the rules and get tit for it)
Why’s he getting tit for sticking to the rules?

he saw those kids all the time, he doted on them, he loves them. Anyone can see it’s the pandemic that’s stopping him. He’s not choosing to not see them. He’s making a hard decision to keep his dad safe.

it’s annoying, I’ve seen dads who do not bother and who do not care about their kids, seeing them once a month for a couple hours. This is not a bad dad and to run his name through the dirt over this is appalling.

Yea its quite odd imo. Doesnt help when shes tried explaining the comment on her story and just said yes i have 3 kids but she's my number 1, rather than i have 3 who i adore equally. Each to their but I would never say such things about my kids.. especially so publically. I may have times where one is annoying me to the point of pulling my hair out but i love them no less and will not give them less attention. Theres no photos of the other children on her insta.. but she might just be saving them for the kids insta to try get more followers.
 
In my opinion I don’t think Ste is doing wrong in this situation, it blatantly says he is caring for his dad who is vulnerable.. he’s had the to make the gut wrenching decision to not see his children for 7 weeks.

I work on a covid ward, and one of my children have to shield which means I haven’t been able to get this.. hug or kiss or be around my children for 10 months now, that doesn’t make me a bad parent for putting their health first, making sure my vulnerable child has the best chance of not catching this virus, so I don’t see how it makes Ste the bad one?

We all know Ste and amber aren’t shy at coming forward, so the fact that amber didn’t post this herself should show that her mum didn’t need too? Seems like she’s trying to cause a scene so that ste gets backlash and she can sit back and smile knowing what she’s done 🤷🏽‍♀️
 
Ambers mum has done completely the opposite of what she thought she was doing 🤣 she’s made Amber look a dick and tbh I feel really sorry for Ste. His live is heart breaking and just shows people only tell one side of the story. If her and her mum are having every Tom dick and Harry round and Ste has a vulnerable dad he’s obviously going to be nervous about seeing the kids. Also, ambers mum saying he was kicking off in front of the kids but thought he hadn’t seen them for weeks? She’s an utter joke. Really really made her and Amber look like complete idiots

Yeah just watching his live now, and I feel very sorry for him - he looks like he’s on the edge 😩I do think ambers mum has really opened up such a can of worms doing this.. why can’t the mums just keep their nose out? Eg Amanda and Maggie! I would be livid if my mum posted my business all over social media.. even more so if I was in the public eye, when you know it’s gonna generate so much gossip and agg
 
People that are saying what’s the difference between this lockdown and the last two. This one differs because of the new strain that is highly contagious hence the super spike in the third wave. Stee and Amber both have many faults and they just don’t seem to get along on any level they both need therapy.
