I think it's lovely, because it shows that he's not interested in being 'single pringle, ready to mingle' etc, but that his priorities lie with his daughter! And its not often you see teen dads stepping up as much as he has.

Ppffft he's either single or he isn't, his daughter should be the priority in any case. I thought it was a grim reply as well.
And you never see anyone praise mums for stepping up. Men can do no wrong!

Regarding Brett and Charlie and the drugs thing.

1) when Charlie shared that horrible message the other week, it mentioned 'Brett being a druggy' or words to that effect and i was surprised she shared it due to that, made me think she didnt send herself it.
2) There was a part in the show where they were discussing going out and Brett was saying "so you'll be ok with me going out?', she said something like yes because ill be able to go out and do stuff the same. It was an odd exchange and seemed like there was an unspoken message which i assumed then to be about taking drugs. Does anyone remember it and got a similar vibe?

They're definitely "weekend rockstars" in my opinion. Bretts well into the clubbing scene, i think thats how they met.

I know mums don't get praised and i know we're always expected to just step up.... But as i always say, credit where credit is due! The guy has no shame in proving and broadcasting his loyalty to his daughter, (nether he should anyway) ... But most teen dads only care about where they can next dip their wick..... I get some people think its weird, i think its sweet. And i stand by my opinion, as much as id expect you to stand by yours
