Yep Brett needs to get himself a solicitor ASAP. As long as he does that to be honest Charlie will have shot herself in the foot, over a short period of time Brett will build up enough evidence to at least grant him 50/50 custody of Harlowe

Custody isn't a thing anymore.

Courts now operate a live with/spend time with arrangement, plus other legal recitals which must be followed.

Brett needs to secure that live with arrangement which grants him the resident parent and allows Charlie to spend time with Harlow on certain days. It also means he can add in a recital that Charlie cannot take Harlow out of the country without prior consent (incase Oli gets stationed abroad), and that she is in breach of the order if she doesn't return Harlow.

Most important thing is, he gets it started NOW. Court is such a lengthy process

Yeah because Charlie would wake up nice and early to drop Harlow off half way each week won’t she? 🙄 or drive of an evening to pick her up? Why should Harlow be punished just because Charlie things “mr I talk to a bunch of girls behind your back” is her night in shining armour. What about once Harlow is in school? Just because Charlie is the mum doesn’t mean she has more rights than Brett. Harlows lucky to have a dad who even gives a darn but then Charlie does seen that and would rather rip Harlows relationship with her own dad to try and play happy family’s with the new flavour of the month.
Just because Charlie said she’ll meet half way doesn’t mean she’ll meet half way. Charlie is all words and no action especially when it’s to get her own way. She’ll just say that so people can’t say she’s stopping Brett seeing Harlow

Agree with everything you've said, however while custody may no longer be a "thing" I used it since it's a very commonly used term to describe who is the resident parent etc.

Though I agree about courts taking forever, and if he doesn't get started soon then he's at risk of her moving and when she does start pulling the whole "Harlow isn't well so i'm not bringing her" (aka Charlie is bone idle) then he can take her for contempt of court but in my personal experience it would take Charlie to be constantly cancelling contact for the court to find her in contempt.

Bet she’ll still rinse him for CSA. Brett please please get a court order or some rights!! Harlow would be better with you. Charlie clearly doesn’t give two shits especially when it’s came to breaking lockdown rules and handing her to every Tom dick and Harry

She can stay there weekends and when he’s on leave.. obvs not atm due to Covid but I use to go and stay with my husband. All the time

Surely with multiple screenshots as evidence of her breaking lockdown the judge will laugh at charlie and hand H over to Brett.. like its not like she was just meeting 1 or 2 she was going from one part of the country to another getting pissed and then parties at home and all whilst working in home care.. all the other evidence of her behaviour will just fuel the fire against her?
