bet your child has just graduated uni as well xCanāt believe itās become a debate about potty training! Iām sure most proactive mums would love by the time their kids are 3 latest, they are potty trained but some kids take to it and are ready and other kids resist and arenāt ready despite being ātoo big for nappies/pull upsā by societal standards, I donāt think those things are reflections on parenting unless a parent truly doesnāt try, it depends on a childās personality so I was sad to read some mums felt triggered by some comments.

She was legit just making a comparison that not all sen children will be delayed in certain areas, so donāt stick them all in one basket. The same way non sen children do things and a different pace.
I forgot in this day and age you canāt be proud of yourself for achieving something with your kids because everyone is a sensitive sally

Is this mumsnet? Who cares about when a child is potty trained! Some flowers bloom before others as they say! It isnāt a competition. Forcing a child to potty train when theyāre not ready usually pushes them back more.

Thank you! A few people understand my comment! It wasnāt crappy nor was I mum shaming I was just saying my son is sen and potty trained so no need to put all sen children in the same basket
her kids may speak but my son is mute, my son may be potty trained but heās still on purĆ©es as he canāt process chewing food like the twins.

It be different if they were together for a few years and he played and earned the role as step dad but to be doing it after 6 months of an on and off again relationship (where she called him abusive) is so strange

kids do potty train at diff times but tbh its just laziness on charlotte's part for 3 year olds to still have dummies and bottles.

Sheās also really pally with Oliverās sister and mum who if I remember correctly felt quite strong about Charlie when she had the pregnancy or whatever happened there! Iām calling a baby soon which if Oliver is staying in (looks like he is going by what my husband knows) theyāll end up married and in a MQ

Came straight here when I saw Charlies story. I know a lot of us have thought there's something not quite right about the way he is with H. Seriously though, babysitting a 2 year old for the day and out of all the activities you could choose to do on a lovely warm sunny day, you take them swimming???

No oneās saying he would harm Harlow, however itās perfectly normal to be concerned someoneās allowing too much personal contact with their child too soon and making them a trusted adult to said children.
