Also googled the Navy's salary, Olly said he had one promotion as a weapons specialist so according to their website he will be on 30k +. I doubt he's got many out goings so he will have plenty of spare spendo.
Do we think he's contributed to Charlie's new car? I have no idea how much a car like that would cost.

You’re not allowed or do it via crowd fun me a local bakery was doing it for charity and Instagram had a go at them for it
 
Thought she said he wasn’t gunna be seeing her for a few weeks? Didn’t know 8 days was a few weeks.. not being horrible but I don’t see her coping well at all if and when he’s deployed away for months on end. I’ve had to do 1 year being the longest but often 9 months not seeing my husband when he’s deployed - I’ve learnt to cope with it but I don’t think Charlie really knows what she’s got herself in for.

That’s what I thought, I swear they said it was gonna be a few weeks apart 🤔 everyone reckons they can do long distance and I take my hat off to you (original poster) for being able too but Charlie doesn’t strike me as the type to be able to go more than a couple weeks, let alone a month/year. Hate to say it but I guarantee they’ll break up and she’ll move on like it didn’t even happen

No she doesn't my ex was in the forces I was 18 when we were together and I was dreading the first time him going away and it hit me like a tonne of bricks , I was so down for weeks. I am quite an emotional person and not that strong so most people would probably cope better than me but nothing prepares you.
We didn't stay together long after but I imagine you do get used to it over time. I know people do have happy relationships in the forces but it's a big commitment on both ends. Genuinely hope it works out for them though only time will tell.
 
Unless he’s come home early? I’m not sure about navy stints but the guy I know who’s in the army has flown the same day Oli did for his training base and he’s still out there.

My mate is a submariner and he’s still at base now, but he can definitely come back at weekends unless he has jobs to do there
