In MissDissapointed defence, I think we all know someone like charlotte, who will probably never work a day in her life even when the kids are grown

Now she may shock us all and prove us wrong but I think we all judge a bit on this forum about what we think will happen rather than confirmed facts all the time.

So yeh do whatever you want till your kids are in school but she should be working at some stage in the future

I think Charlotte should be in some sort of education at least. Theres a grant or scheme to help with child care for parents under 20 years old. I think she should take advantage of it whilst she’s still young instead of worrying about her dumb relationship with Connor. I understand that she wants a family with him but the girls aren’t going to care if they’re parents are together or not. As long they’re both actively in their lives it really shouldn’t be her top priority. I understand that Donna is terminally ill aswell but that’s still not an excuse for her not being in education or doing something productive

Because in one of the lives or YouTube videos Donna said that Charlotte was going to do hair and beauty in college but then she got pregnant and her illness came about so she thought it would be ‘too much’ for Charlotte to go to college

Sorry but what job are you expecting her to of had before the twins when she was 16/17 when next to no where hire anyone at that age? I'm not a fan or anything of charrlotte, but if she can stay at home and wants to then why can't she? I'm not getting the issue with it tbh. Free hours come in at 2 years i know loads of women who don't go back till then, even though the government help pay they want to raise their babies.

I mean to be fair i worked from 16 and so did most of my friends. The ones who didnt still dont at 22/23.

We all know as soon as the twins are in nursery and Charlotte “should” be looking at work, she’ll get knocked up again and the cycle starts again. I work within a benefits department and see this tit on the daily

I know charlottes an absolute knobhead for MANY reasons but I feel it’s harsh writing her off already saying she’s never worked etc she’s literally had twins at a super young age and we’ve been in a pandemic majority of this year. No where in my area will hire under 18 because of the extra health and safety measures ect unless its a paper round I'm 24 now and I could get one when I was 16 but recently no one hires at that age now, my sisters 18 and all her friends and her have tried for 2 years, none of them managed to get one till turning 18.

Instead of palming Harlow off every weekend she could work saturday sundays. That’s how me and my partner do it anyway. Sons nearly 2, his dad works Monday-Friday, I work Saturday and Sunday. It’s far more “doable” for Charlie. In my opinion*.

All the other poster was saying that if Charlotte wanted to go out and get a job there’s ways for her to do it, her nursery fees would be basically all paid for her and besides she’s also got Connor involved so what’s stopping her leaving the girls with him whilst she goes out and works a little part time job? Donna clearly has support around her that isn’t Charlotte because we’ve seen Charlotte not staying at home, in a flat etc so really there’s duck all stopping her either.

I just find it absolutely hilarious how people go for Charlie about not working yet excuse Charlotte, they could both go out to work if they wanted. I mean at least Charlie tries, moan about her not working then moan cos she’s not working enough

If Charlotte is in a position she doesn’t need to work then what’s the difference? What’s the difference in Brett paying for Charlie’s lifestyle and benefits paying for Charlottes? It’s neither of their money. Ones sponging off tax and the other sponging off her partner. Where is the line? There isn’t one. I think people’s opinions on Charlie not working would be different if she worked 9-5 monday to friday and Brett did sod all honestly, maybe I’m wrong saying that, but I do think people would have a lot more to say, but the opposite is fine because Charlie’s a mum and not a dad. Both can do what they want, but there’s not much difference in either of them except circumstances, and Charlie’s is doable, she just chooses not to.
