It’s a bit confusing because I did some digging the other day and I’ve found pretty much all her family on Facebook, including her mum, and they all seem to be private, but not private enough because her mum has a couple of pictures of Ellie on there I’d say up until the age of like 11/12, so if she was in care, what age did she go in?

I have no idea, I’m sure she mentioned it in the first episode though! I could be mistaken though and totally misheard - I tend to watch whilst also doing 47 other things haha. If I’m the only one who remembers then it’s quite likely I may have just made it up 😂
 
Ohhh right! I’ve completely forgotten the first episode so I can’t even remember what was said, obviously social media doesn’t always show what’s actually going on but she looked like a pretty smiley kid from what the photos show🤷🏻‍♀️ but obviously you can’t say what is or isn’t from a couple photos can you

I think you’ve mixed up Chloe saying she was in care with Ellie saying she didn’t see her mum. Google the family it may bring stuff up
 
So from watching some of Ellie's lives I think her mum is meant to of had 4 kids with her dad but they live all live with her dad and her step mum, there seems to be a lot of conflict between them all, it's very confusing and I couldn't really work it out but someone was commenting about her step mum used to go out with her dads sister or something like that
 
Seen this and thought it’s appropriate to post hear due too two individuals in the show

when I first started watching this series I didn’t know she was called Elizabeth and when she said ‘EHY’ me and my partner looked at each other and went ‘wtf’ 😂😳 what a stupid stupid name. The way she says it is stuck in my brain it’s like PTSD
