I think taking her on a date was also an attempt at making an effort - and he was met with rudeness and an ungrateful attitude. In order to make their family unit better, making an effort with Ellie is arguably just as important as making an effort with Tommy and she just didn’t care.

He also did try and make reasonable suggestions to help with the CV and look what happened

I don’t think Jamie is being fair to Isha. She’s right - he shouldn’t just be going out whenever he wants. She gets anxious and he should understand that it will help her to have a routine.

I’m kinda gonna defend Ellie here. I know that she doesn’t speak to her mum for whatever reason and a bad mother daughter relationship can really damage relationships around you. It happened to me. I was cut off by my mum 2 years ago after her and my dad split and being brought up by her with no affection, I struggle massively towards my partner because I’ve never received it from my mum at all, and very minimal from my dad. I kinda do hope they can work through it

I feel it can go either way, I’ve never had a relationship with mine but I’m the opposite in wanting love and affection more so than most. Ellie is a vile girl and needs a lot of therapy cos she can’t go round treating people like that just cos she’s been through that

So far Whitney has been come across the best in my opinion, the rest of the mum's/couples are just on a loop of the same storyline. I hope they are all in a good place now because if not being in the show may make things worse due to the the social media.
