It doesn’t even mean anything in this day and age. I’m on priority banding as I’m in an abusive relationship and I’ve still been told the waiting list for a 2 bed house is 12-18 months🙃
My friend and her husband is still sharing a bedroom with their nearly 5 year old. They are getting nowhere with the council. It's ridiculous.

Mia has been out all the time again since being single. She must spend so much money going all these places trying to floss with z-listers in clubs and staying away. I hope she is making actually getting a home for her and her daughter a priority. Let’s pray she doesn’t meet a new man too 😒
I really just hope her next partner is someone normal just an everyday average guy like 5ft8 Jamie the brickie who drives a fiesta and shops for his clothes in matalan 🤣
Mia if he has a Range Rover, turkey teeth or a Gucci man bag don’t go there 🚩

Wow I hope you’re getting all the support you need so it’s safe to leave ❤

And if they’re brain dead and can’t hold a convo which seems her type 🚩

10 days?! Is she not walking about wincing? 😂😂 I find this whole influencer lifestyle so bizarre, they lose sense of reality I swear 😂 even if they’re z list influencers
This is what I was thinking too, not sure what kinda birth she had but both leave you in bits for ages after and she’s definitely bleeding and possibly wearing an adult nappy right now lol

Sorry to point out the obvious but maybe they shouldn’t have had a third child if they didn’t have the room? Banking that she will get lucky and get a bigger council house doesn’t exactly seem like the wisest move?

I used to work in housing at the council and you probably won't be surprised to hear most people do not have this logic 😂

In fact we had people THREATEN to have another baby so they could get moved.

One couple had 5 kids between them and had 4 more....... then demanded a 7 bedroom house lol

I went to school with a girl who’s mum has 15 (could be more now) kids and had two council houses knocked together to house them all. Her daughter (the girl i went to school with) moved out and got her own place (private rent) and had two babies and then gave it up and moved back with her mum thinking she’d get given a council house because the place is beyond overcrowd at this point (i’m sure her brother, his gf and their newborn live there too) but the council saw through it and basically told her to deal with it as she gave up her place.

My brother in laws unemployed girlfriend (none of us talk to her she’s a horrible person) has 2 teenage daughters and had a two bed council house. There’s been a massive development of council houses being built near us since 2018 and because of this she has just had 3 back to back babies because she knew there would be a good chance of her getting one of these lovely new builds if she had more. And yes you guessed it right she has just this week been handed the keys to a 5 bed 🙃
Makes me sick me and my partner work our arses off to private rent our 3 bed
Sorry that’s totally off track I just had to release the anger while we were on the topic 🤣

not shocked at all unfortunately!!!

I find it annoying when people say "oh its not true you can get pregnant and the council will house you!!" .. like..... yes it is true 😂 i saw it happen every day for 3 and a half years in my old job. yes you might not be INSTANTLY housed, but if you are v overcrowded or living with family/friends and they write a letter to say they wont accommodate you, then you will get put in the top banding for the bidding and you will get a property. In big cities maybe that would take years but I live more in the sticks and people would join the list, get top banding and be housed in around 3 months, mostly a brand new build due to a lot of new developments on the edge of villages and towns.

Guys who actually cares if people get council housing? Majority of people living in housing association or council houses work and pay their rent. Much better to be paying rent in houses which have gas safety checks and stuff that gets fixed than awful private rentals charging double the price. I’m glad we live in a country which has this type of housing. Especially the way private rental is! You don’t have to have kids to get council or housing association either and we live in a time where it isn’t easy for everyone to buy. Yes there may be pisstakers and people who abuse the system but there’s much worse things going on. I personally don’t care if someone with a stupid amount of kids gets a house big enough for them to live in lol. Not starting anything just don’t want people living in council housing to be made to feel like tit 🙃

I live in a housing association home but I don’t mind these comments as they don’t apply to me. I’m not someone who’s had any babies with the purpose of being housed. I had a surprise baby very young, private rented, left an abusive relationship so got housed quickly luckily. I was in a desperate but honest situation. But the people who get pregnant on purpose like these stories above infuriate me, especially when they’ve already got too many kids. And I feel for those having to pay a mortgage when there’s tramps like these taking the piss and rinsing the system with zero contribution to society. There’s a new build estate down the road from me with houses going for around 500k and there’s this school mum from my daughter’s school who’s just moved in one of them who’s kids are grown enough and she just point blank refuses to work, it’s disgusting. There are far too many of these stories
