New to this thread, so apologies if this has been discussed to death, but how is it possible for Mia and Manny to have a blue eyed kid?

I’m sure maggie has blue eyes unsure about mias side manleys 3 kids all have different complexions it’s amazing to see how genetics work his son seems to have taken his dads colour the most they all look quite different too

Marliyas parents are only mixed race themselves making marliya only a quarter so why is it so shocking shes come out light skin/blue eyed? Genetics vary and can leave a child looking like a grandparent, aunt, uncle and so on. In her case she is a replica of her nan maggie. I think its a bit weird for people to be discussing her race or debating how she ‘should’ look based on her parents looks.. especially as shes just a child

I'm mixed race myself and I'm still so shocked that people don't understand that our children can come out either colour or a mix of both. Me and my bros are all different shades of brown, nieces and nephews browns/white, varying eye colour and hair texture. A friend of mine who is white and I've known for years, said to me recently, I look like I could have 2 black parents instead of being mixed! I'm probably a tad bit darker than sassi lol. I was like I could be so much darker and still have a white mum. Look at Heidi klums kids with seal, they are dark. It's beyond annoying.

I’m mixed race and very aware of how genetics work. My comment was after someone was surprised she has blue eyes. I wasn’t trying to insinuate anything or saying she should look a certain way.

Jesus people get offended over the weirdest things I’m mixed too so it’s a common topic of mine especially as I’ve given birth recently so we’ve all been speculating beforehand. It’s not meant in offence ffs, we’re allowed to discuss it

Im only 1/4 white and I could give snow white a run for her money, 1 of my brothers is dark and looks black, one of them looks more middle eastern and my sister is paler than me

She is a mini Maggie for sure. I can’t get over how much they look alike
