Does anyone watch Teen Mom OG?

I have so many thoughts!

I simply cannot believe that MTV have continued to film Amber; she is an absolute mess and they are following her through this whole domestic abuse trail as if she is a victim! She verbally and physically abused her partner while he was holding their one year old son! I don’t understand how we they can continue to follow her, and all the other girls are so fake and hypocritical supporting her in court when they refused to film with Farrah just because she did adult movies. Unbelievable.

I also think it’s shocking that MTV continue to film Ryan especially when he is clearly on drugs, that scene with him driving the car whilst basically OD‘’ginger was irresponsible. I really like his parents, and respect the relationship they have continued with Maci and her children/family, but they also baby Ryan.

Oh and don’t even get me started on Catelynn, what a mess! I feel so sorry for Tyler, he needs out.

Yes him and Mack deserve each other - can’t believe they have had 2 children together whilst he has been MIA on drugs or having another pointless stint in rehab - he must come straight out and back on the drugs, he hasn’t been sober on that programme in years.

Yea Maci seems to be the only normal one and to be fair, Gary has really turned his life around and stepped up and his wife seems incredible to support him while he deals with Amber etc.

I actually love Gary, he’s stepped tf up! He’s actually in the police now too! Anyone remember when he sold condoms with his face on 😂 ironic.
I’ve never liked Maci, she’s a sly dog. They treat Bentley like Cinderella.

Yeah I agree. Although Maci seems the only stable one on the show I do think she’s quite manipulative.

I actually really like Cheyenne, she seems to have handled the whole pregnancy thing really well and continued to support Ryder to have a blended family which is nice.

Catelynn has had a troubled life but seems very unstable and her girls are the ones suffering, she just drops them and goes to rehab or on holiday at any given opportunity?!
So unfair to poor Tyler whos life has also been hard but he had to keep it together and support the girls. Sad.

This is the scene of Ryan, driving to his wedding - bad quality but you get the jist. I can’t believe the producers, who must have been following in a car behind - let him continue to drive - so many lives at risk!

Im so happy you made this thread i was looking for one and couldnt find it! Ive followed the girls since 16 and pregnant! One of my fave programmes i Love it!!!!!!!!!!!

My thoughts on it...

I like Cate and Tyler.. Dont get me wrong their lives are very messy and Cate has a lot of issues, I bet they wish they never gave Carly up for adoption- heartbreaking to watch! i think Nova is really cute! And their new baby..


Cheyanne seems nice, she didnt tell Cory he was a Dad until Ryder was a few months old as i think she thought she was someone elses..
they seem to co parent well.

Maci and Taylor are boring Tbh... Ryan is a crack head obvz and he has been chewing that tit or watever it is For years! Vile- his wife is dumb i cant believe she has stayed with him but tbh she hardly sees him as hes always locked up or at rehab..

Amber.. shes a mess and has a lot of issues- her ex Matt was a creep!!!! So glad she got rid of him.... Gary seems to be ok now- hated him before when he used to stop Leah from seeing Amber etc ... i think Christinas great!!!!! Hes so lucky to have her and shes like a Mum to Leah....
Wonder what will happen with the whole domestic violence drama....

Well I honestly cant deal with cait she's just so lazy and annoying think it's such a shame for ty, I remember the scene where his mom asked does seeing her lie on the couch all day make you sad and he said no it repulses me, you could tell he truly meant it. Its very very obvious he's not happy but he knows if he does leave she will completley spiral which in turn will affect the girls, he's in a difficult situation 🙄 this is a bit mean but it made me giggle, when I watched the new ep the other day my other half said oh no not this again, I can't stand the girl who looks like a thumb (cait) it really tickled me but I can't unsee it now lol
Amber well she's a whole other story, I follow a few of the teen mom gossip pages on insta and heard the audio from the cctv of when Amber attacked Andrew with the machete whilst he was holding the baby, it was heartbreaking I could not believe wht I was hearing, very upsetting I'm actually disgusted mtv continue to give the lazy child abusing domestic violence hoe airtime! She's always been a no good mom, abused Gary in front of leah them dumped her off as soon as she could, hardly ever went to see her because of yano the depression 😴 but could find her self a new man every ten minutes she really is vile
 
I think teen mom is such a joke! I mean I'll still watch it but 16 and pregnant did not help prevent teenage pregnancy, if anything it's made it worse as they have all these shows relating to young mom's but with the amount of money the og's get paid I wouldn't be surprised if people got pregnant n emailed mtv. But the people who I thought were the most decent were ty n cate and look TAX DODGERS! It's making farrah look like the normal one 🤣
 
Are Catelynn and Tyler still together?! I haven't watched anything with them for years but I remember watching 16 + Pregnant with them on when it first aired 😱 I watched A few of the teen mom's after and thought there was surely no way it'd last

Yep they are still together and are now tax dodgers lol! April and Butch broke up and April seems to be doing ok but Butch is back in jail nearly every season. The OG season was originally Amber, Maci, Cate and Farrah but the 3 mean girls got Farrah kicked off for adult movies but seem to have no problem supporting an ex convict Domestic Abuser

I don’t enjoy Teen Mom 2 anymore either, I think it’s boring. Janelle is an absolute mess and Chelsea is the only normal one but her story line with her anxiety is very draining... I can’t even remember who the other girls are! Oh Leah - Addie (by the way, my name ain’t sis) is just a superstar, amazing to watch!
 
Catelynn hasn’t gone to treatment for over a year now I think? She seems to be doing a lot better mental health-wise these days. She got a lot of tit for going off to treatment but at least she was actually trying to sort herself out, even if it did take a few attempts at it. Yes she was very privileged to be able to afford to go off to a nice facility but I’m sure any of us would do the same if we were able to, you work with what you have at the end of the day and you don’t recover from mental illness and the lifetime of trauma she has suffered over night. She’s put more time and effort into her mental health than any of the other girls in my opinion, maybe Amber should take note.

Tyler is cringe on social media with all his weird poems and raps he seems like a good dad though.

Always liked Maci and her kids are adorable. Bentley has grown into a lovely kid, it’s a shame his dad Ryan is such a deadbeat. Taylor seems alright and a good dad to all of them. I heard Maci & Taylor enjoy a drink or two.

Amber I have no words for why she is still on the show I have no idea. I can only think that mtv thinks she will bring in ratings - embarrassing for them. Andrew always gave me the creeps though, he met amber on marriage boot camp where she was an absolute lunatic, so why he thought getting together with her, packing his job in and moving in right away would be a good idea I don’t know. His cameras around ambers home was bleeping weird. Really odd bloke, definitely not as ‘nice’ as I thought he was originally. Poor baby James.

Not really fussed on Cheyenne. She was never a teen mom so I’m not sure why she was picked to go on the show. That said Ryder is adorable. Corey is a twit.

Farrah obviously isn’t on the show anymore but she disgusts me with the way she drags Sophia along to all her ‘client’ meetings all over the world. The kid has zero friends her own age, no education and is becoming a clone of her mother. It’s sad to see.

Wonder whatever became of Farrahs mum remember she used to be a bible basher then had a complete turn around .got into surgery and was always out of her head on something..even found herself a boyfriend..

Debz is fascinating. I’m sure she contributed to 99% of Farrah’s issues. I remember on her 16&p Farrah tried to ask the doctor a perfectly reasonable question about breastfeeding I think it was, and Deb basically interrupted her and told her it was disgusting to talk about. She also wouldn’t allow Farrah to get an abortion, now she seems to be the complete opposite of what she was. That whole family is weird af.

Yes they are a weird family for sure ! I always thought Farrah was really depressed tbh she was forever breaking down,she was a lovely girl before all the surgery and porn tit took off I kinda felt sorry for her ,as you say Debbs is warped..

Amber has major issues she deffs shouldn't be in that show .she's messed up far too many times .At the very start I didn't really like Gary but as you say he has turned himself around ,and I think Leah wouldn't have turned as well if it wasn't for him and his mum getting her away from Amber when they did.
