Ted Lasso

I’m not loving this season. It’s always been a bit ‘tonight, on a very special Blossom’ but it feels a ham fisted this season. Plus they’ve sent all the characters off to different locations, so they don’t seem to be interacting with each other as much. I don’t care about Keeley and Jack or the PR firm. The Zava storyline was half arsed and James Lance doing his ‘I’m listening to how this is going to work out’ face is pissing me off. The best thing so far has been Roy and Jameh’s relationship. The only actual laugh out loud moment so far for me was Roy falling off the bike (and that’s hardly original).

I really enjoyed today's episode. No spoilers so I'll say no more! except for 'Red, Orange, Yellow!'.

I'm yet to watch todays ep (my daughter will disown me if I don't wait for her 😂) but there seems to have been less and less Ted since the Amsterdam ep. I think its foreshadowing for his departure.
A version of the show without Ted could 100% work but I don't know what that version would be; would it concentrate on the team (rename it The Greyhounds or something) or would it focus more on Roy or Jamie or, and this might be a possibility now, Nate?

Not much Ted 🤔
A version of the show without Ted would still work, if done right (and renamed, haha).

This episode pleased me greatly, because it settled a niggle in the back of my mind.

Back at the start of the year I found a lovely lady who had one of the Richmond Training track jackets for sale. I immediately bought it from her (very cheaply too all things considered) and she told me she'd worked on wardrobe for season 3 and she had the jacket, a few woven richmond patches that they put on the base jackets and a few Canada International shirts left over from filming. I felt she was genuine, but obviously you never know for sure, so when those Canada shirts popped up in this episode I was thrilled.

Literally every time I've worn that jacket someone will ask where I've got it from 😂

Everything was done right for the characters this episode:
Jamie (national)
Rebecca (no no, Rupert!)
Keeley (Money!)
Roy ('R.O.Y'/"Yours sincerely...")
Nate ("Sorry -Wonder Kid")

Now, this feels like it is leading to a big Ted-centric episode.
The writing is so good!
It really is. The way they can do the big heart felt bits alongside the silly jokes ‘Roy K*nt’ Barbara and her Juicy trousers ‘I like my clothes to be factually correct’
They have done the impossible and I’m not against a Nate redemption or at least him and Ted making up. His scene with his Dad today was so touching.
