Ted Lasso

I think what they’re doing by having all the characters have their own storylines and have the chance to grow (Roy stepping up as coach, Colin, Sam and his Dad etc) is to show us that Ted has done everything he wanted/needed to do. Much like Mary Poppins, he can move on and they'll all be fine.
He has made these young men the best versions of themselves ❤️

Colin & Issac 😭

I don’t think Colin is the strongest actor in the world but I’ve enjoyed his storyline & I particularly enjoyed the sentiments from this weeks episode. I also enjoyed his previous comments that he doesn’t want to be a hero or a headline. He just wants to to kiss his boyfriend like the others kiss their girlfriends. He just wants to be. And I think thats exactly the thoughts of most queer people. They just want to be, to live without fear of prejudice or harm.

Not much Ted in this episode but also not much Keeley, so hurray.

Ted seems to be drifting into the background with Roy being more front and centre as the 'main' coach.. maybe foreshadowing?
Everything in this show is foreshadowing.

Loved Jade(d) today ‘he seems wealthy and nice-like’
She saw straight through him.
Kudos to writers, who I have given some criticism to this season, they are now making me less against a Nate redemption as long as it as the expense of Rupert.

This season has been so strong. But I think the show just has been generally fantastic.

What’s everyone’s predictions for the end?

Think Brett has said in interview the final scene is a locker room one. Will Ted go back to America?

I think Ted will ho back to America, and the final scene is Roy walking into the locker room as manager.

Rebecca: Let me introduce our new manager...

Roy: Alright, you pricks...
You don’t see returning to the greyhound stadium as part of Nate’s redemption? As much as I would prefer it to be Roy and his legendary whistle!

I can't see them taking Nate back.
A friendly rivalry with a different team seems much more likely.
I think Roy is set to replace Ted (unless Roy becomes Coach Beard and Nate comes in as manager).

Keeley’s been badly handled this series but otherwise, I love it and them all.

The Shandy thing showed Keely being strong and getting rid of a bad influence in her life, but then the Jack situation replaced it so as you said they've kind of driven her to be an independent woman by doing similar things across this season.

I think someone else said, Juno was unavailable for a lot of filming so this may explain her plot.
