Maybe Cristo will get Julia's slot. I doubt that though. They could extend his current early, early slot for an extra half hour or hour maybe????

They're not moving Kevin O'Sullivan AGAIN are they?????
He's being doing that 9.30 am half hour with Mike Graham for a little while. Maybe that was a test run to see if early weekday Kev could be a ratings success???????

He will soon have been tried in every timeslot.
 
Julia's slot is going to Jeremy Kyle & Nicola Thorp. Less said about that, the better.

I wonder how Julia's style will translate to the afternoons. She did do that slot on LBC many moons ago so I'm sure she knows what to do but I've only seen her at breakfast where her strength seemed to be the hard interviews with politicians. Afternoons tend to be a bit lighter.

I find Jeremy too loud and shouty for the first thing in the morning. I couldn't cope listening to him first thing.

Nicola Thorp is so opinionated about everything....cannot stand her.

I will be tuning into Nick Ferrari on LBC in the the mornings and then avoiding James O'Brien and moving back to Mike Graham for some laughs at 10am!
 
Ian Collins mentioned the upcoming changes in his show yesterday. He just mentioned Julia will be doing 1-3 and his own change. Does that mean Ian will be on late evenings?
 
If I google all I can get is the schedule change announcement for Oct 2022 when they launched Kyle's show at 7pm.

I can't find anything for this year.
 
Is Sharon Osbourne no longer a part of the show? I see the Osbournes have started a podcast and Piers was speaking to them on his show the other night. I gather they are in LA.
 
Talksport has been plugging the new breakfast show all over the weekend..Hope it's not as bad as you all fear..

I don't know a whole lot about Nicola, but whenever I've seen her she seems to enjoy lecturing people on moral rights and wrongs, yet there she is sitting next to a bloke who got removed from ITV due bullying, who presided over a show where one guest ended committing suicide as a result! Do these people have no self-awareness? No dignity? Is it really all about money and being on television? It's so bleeping grim.
 
I saw adverts for the new breakfast show plastered everywhere today on the Daily Mail website. I wonder how much Murdoch Inc. is pissing down the drain for this endeavour? I just watched a bit of it and seeing Jeremy Vyle isn't exactly the first thing I want to see when I start my day. Still, I suppose his brand of smarm isn't exactly aimed at my demongraphic, ie: someone vaguely sentient. Here are the adverts, with some slight adjustments. :whistle:

Wouldn't it be great if those "modified" adverts were adopted? I bet the audience figures would skyrocket.

I gave the show 10 mins yesterday. Strangely enough they were talking about rodents...

I'm quite an expert on gerbils but couldn't compete with the King Rat on screen

I agree that it looks like GMB 2.0. Just so long as Garraway doesn't rock up flogging her new "resilience" manual.

What is the world coming to when he isn't the most annoying presenter on this new show?

Julia got on my nerves. She spoke so fast she swallowed the end of some words because she was in such a hurry to get the next sentence out before someone else got a word in.
When she said she was moving slots I dared to get excited for a moment.
Should have known. :rolleyes:

No radio on for me again now til 9.30 when Mike and Kev start their act.
