Finding Kev is like playing Where's wally.

Is he still doing Fri Sat and Sun now or have they changed those slots to someone else?????

I'm assuming Kev loses his weekend slots. Otherwise that's an insane schedule for him.

If I were doing the schedules, I'd axe Vanessa, move Ian to drive, Petrie to afternoons, Cristo to late nights.

Oh I didn't realise Vanessa was losing an hour too, I thought Kev was only doing an hour.
 
I started "having it on in the background" (TV) around 12 months ago.

It's entirely predictable and soporfifc to me now. Faux outrage only goes so far IMO.
 
Anyone else notice that TalkTV often invite on the posh, middle class guests? I saw that David Bull invited on two young conversative/right leaning contributors this morning. One of them was the youngest councillor in his Surrey borough. I did a little googling and he apparently went to a £6500 per term school. I see this a lot with TalkTV especially, they often have guests on who are middle class and posh.

They are all probably signed to the same agent. They all just rotate.
 
I normally listen to Talk Radio via radio however I am on holiday this week and have it on the TV. Just caught Zora Suleman reading the news and I am mesmerised by how she does not move her teeth but moves her lips so much when speaking. It looks really weird and even my hubby mentioned it too.

Did newsreaders and weatherpersons always make a big announcement of their own name before they give their report?

I've noticed this with her in particular.
I don't care what their name is. Just read the news FFS.
You aren't a celebrity arriving at a party.

God you’re bitter. Did a TV presenter reject you or something? The talk people introduce themselves beside its also on radio. Nothing to do with narcissism or ego.

I think if you listen closely to all of these stations you'll hear it's a format and all news and travel readers start and end their reports in the same way. It sounds like a script they have to follow rather than bigging themselves up. I think so anyway...

No, I worked with some right cunts in the meeja. All they cared about was their byline rather than their story. Glad to be out of the rancid industry.
 
Yeah, apols, I was a bit harsh on the newsreaders etc. It's the Jeremy Kyle types spewing their hate-filled Right-wing rhetoric I want to see replaced by AI.(same goes for those who spew divisive Left-wing rhetoric too btw). Many if not all of the people who work behind the scenes are nice people ... obviously them losing work due to AI would be a shame. :unsure:
