I was surprised to hear yesterday Vanessa, who I like and trust to be truthful, say that the Phil and Holly thing is all rubbish, they've always got on very well on and off-screen, they are both good friends of hers, she saw them in the studio most recently last week and there was no tension. V was away for a couple of days I think, anyone know when she is due back on This Morning?
 
You know what does my head in with Vanessa is when she is speaking to a colleague/reporter and starts rambling on for 30 seconds giving her opinion, rather than just asking a question, listening, then giving a short opinion of her own.

She ends up just going on and on which feels like forever. Does my head in. She did it just now with the talkradio reporter. She also speaks fast which doesn't help.
 
Do any of you know why Piers Morgan's show is uploaded onto his YouTube channel rather than TalkTV's channel? The same for clips from his show are uploaded to his own YouTube channel rather than TalkTV. Seems a bit odd as he's supposed to be the face of TalkTV.
 
I wonder if Murdoch actually benefits from stuff like this? Gives a fair bit of attention to a project with dire figures.

haha, No wonder Graham seemed grumpier than usual in the 2 minutes I caught yesterday evening, he just kept saying (about Boris I think): "I'm bored with it, I don't want to talk about" ... I think he was sulking. 😂
 
I read Tom Newton-Dunn has been shuffled off for the time being due to multiple allegations of bullying and a threat by staff affected of a mass walk-out. He has previous of being a bastard to work with.

Apparently he also clicks his fingers at waiters. So you can tell the kind of person he probably is.
 
TND sounds like a total arse off-camera, his on-screen persona is stiff and unlikeable, he does not fit in with the rest of TalkTV, plus nobody watches him. I think there's an obvious solution there - get rid.

They want him to move back to Times Radio, except the people at Times Radio don't want him. :LOL:

HIs dad was Bill Newton Dunn. If that name sounds vaguely familiar it's because he was an MEP for many, many years (on and off between 1979 and 2020).

I'm sure GB News will find space for him if News Corp get rid. They seem to take all the rejects.

Once sat in the row opposite him on a train to Portsmouth. Quiet carriage. He chatted to his friend for the whole journey.

That’s so funny because the alleged reason he’s been suspended from Talk is that he shouted at an underling who turned out to be one of Brooks’ relatives!
