Zora was the newsreader on LBC before she moved to Talk Radio. I remember her too from The Big Breakfast. She really does over pronounce. My hubby likes to watch her, I have no idea why 😂🙈
 
Cristo being a health correspondent for Vanessa and showing how healthy greek food is by baking feta is unlikely to be topped on the station this week.

He stuck feta, olive oil and veggies in a dish and baked it. Vanessa was suitably impressed that it bubbled.

She seems to young to be from the big breakfast! Definitely remember her from lbc, especially overnights

I caught the end of this when I got in, I have to listen back, two of my radio faves. I would love to be a guest at the lunch they are planning.

If I was Rebekah brooks I'd ship cristo off somewhere on easyjet each week and get him to video call Vanessa with a recipe :D
 
They are playing where's Kevin O'Sullivan again.

Just announced he's no longer doing Saturday Night Talkaway.
Andre Walker is taking that over.
Kevin is now doing "What Just Happened" on Friday nights - at 9, I think.
Then Sat and Sundays from 4 til 7pm.

No idea which show will also feature Ally Ross.

I wonder if Claudia-Liza's contract is up hence them moving Kevin into her slot. Makes sense because she's been on 2 years and hasn't really gained much popularity with listeners. It's been a while since I watched Talkaway, hope Andre isn't with Danielle who I can't warm to. They don't need a 2 person show IMO.

I won't be watching the Andre show. Saw it once when he stood if for Kev.
Did NOT enjoy.
Kev's not the slickest of presenters but he's learning, and he usually has interesting topics and guests.
I heard he's been getting good ratings too.

I quite like the stuff Kevin does, but no not that Andre guy and that woman he is normally with hinders rather than helps in my opinion.

The one I saw had both of them and I gave them about 20 minutes, it didn't get any better so I switched off.

Kevin's shows on Saturday mornings when he first started had some really varied guests and topics.
Since they've been moving him around in the schedules without advertising, he's been difficult to find.
He was on this morning, and I only knew when I switched on for Mike Graham and Kev was handing over to him.

Mike actually said to him, he wanted to plug his shows but never knows when he's on, and he works there!
What chance do we have!!!!!

It's like Where's Wally!
 
Listened to Plank of the Week yesterday - really wish they'd stop using Esther Krakue, there are so many other commentators who come across much more pleasant. She talks over everyone and has pretty socially backwards views even for TalkTV. The other panelists made much better contributions IMO. But looking at the YouTube comments, I guess I'm in a very small minority.

Who is 'JJ' ?? (immediate red flag for me ... someone calling themselves by their initials) ...whenever I hear him he talks utter bollocks. Anything to pay the bills I guess. :rolleyes:
 
The tributes to Paul O'Grady on Vanessa's show today are fabulous, she was a good friend and she spoke to Biggins, Claire Sweeney and Peter Tatchell.

ETA The callers V has on with their memories and tributes are also fantastic.
