Whale is heading to 10pm (any other stations to listen to at that time?) and Darryl Morris on Fri/Sat nights. Kevin O'Sullivan on 7pm all of next week, rumours that Cristo is getting a weekend slot.

Can't stand Whale and I imagine that he'll be cantankerous as normal as opposed to Cristo's more chilled out show which was ideal for that time of night so not at all happy at this, why did they have to change it? At least it seems like we have more of Kevin on weekdays I guess.

Femi was nominated as Plank of the Week the other week and threw a huge strop about it on Twitter, I wonder why he is a guest so often if he takes such issues with the presenters.
 
Why does no one tell Mike Graham to move away from the mic when he’s not talking. His breathing makes me barf 🤮
 
Listened to their Podcast.
Was quite shocked by all the constant swearing, and I am no prude!
I wonder how they manage not to swear, when on the radio live??
 
I think that the swearing is part of their brand. It also must allow them to get that language out their system, better doing it on an independent podcast than on Ofcom ruled live radio.
 
Trisha's show sounds interesting - I'm listening now - but I can't listen any longer due to the terrible line she is on, it's sounds terrible.
 
Quite liked Trisha's show, brought something different to the table as opposed to pure politics. Discussion on various moral issues surrounding the news and speaking to a variety of different people. The type of show that works well for weekends, I hadn't listened to this slot before as it was with Bob Mills (probably a nice guy but I find him difficult to listen to, same with Mike Parry)
 
I would never call James because he is a bit volatile and I frankly would feel uncomfortable knowing there is a reasonable chance of a host flipping out because they don't like what I would have to say.

I don't see why TR have kept him so long as it's not entertaining and they already have Mike Graham to cover the 'shock jock' role.

Back in the 90's he had his own cult show on the ITV network, late nights/wee small hours - The James Whale Television Show.
It was music, comedy, guests & a bit of smut.
Mr Methane & Charlie Chuck :D
Basically 'Lads & Ladettes TV' after the pubs had closed.

His wife died and he was diagnosed with terminal cancer within the space of roughly a couple of years so I would suspect he feels time is against him and so speaks his mind even more than he did previously. But yes I think he's pretty consistent.
