I think it's 1 hour on a panel and 3 hours the normal radio-like show. I bet he's happy for the work.

Listened last night and Kyle was going on that vegan sausage rolls are a joke, yawn. The 90s calls and wants it's opinions back.

He has scary eyes.

Mrs O has gone way too far with work on her face!
I'll stick to listening on my radio.

Absolutely smashing it. Piers has been getting huge interviews with Trump (Monday/Tuesday), Tyson Fury(tonight) and Kaitlyn Jenner (tomorrow). Lovely to see Mrs O back on UK television and Nicola Thorp is eye candy on her show :D I don't mind Jeremy Kyle being on there. I think he got a hard time over the end of his chat show.

I'm actually really enjoying listening to Jeremy Kyle on the radio.
I didn't expect to, but I am.
He's quite entertaining.

Wonder how the viewing figures compare to itv, BBC. Channel 4 and 5?

I think Mrs O looks overalls good considering how much she's had done over the years, still odd looking but not terrible compared to other people of her age. The fact that she's not that articulate, keeps losing her chain of thought and generally isn't that on the ball doesn't bode well for her.

Pretty low numbers for the Sharon show that is more the Kyle show. GB news got good ratings for the first few days.

It's a bit like Mike Graham, no matter how you feel about their politics it's kinda entertaining.

Do they have differing opinions on the show though? Not seen it yet, but all the 'woke' stuff gets a bit tedious after a while. Not that woke isn't annoying at times, but sometimes the likes of GB News and Talkradio/TV go on about it.

No Jeremy on The Talk tonight, Ian Collins will be on instead.

Vanessa Feltz apparently also on The Talk.

Ian Collins and Vanessa Feltz is a pretty good lineup, maybe they'll get more than 20'000 viewers. They really can't be happy with how many are switching off after piers

The bit I saw of The Talk on the first night had one person disagreeing with the others, so it wasn't an echo chamber of everyone saying the same thing. They were discussing Harry & Meghan and one was supporting them, the others were critical.
They all seemed pretty ant-woke from what I saw.
I switched off after only a short while though.

I think this is the first time Christo has talked about the relaunch / new channel. You'd think he'd be congratulating his fellow workers or talking about it.

He could just say to catch his show on catch up

I wonder if he's a bit miffed about his new time slot. He's had a good couple of years, first with the late nights, 5 shows a week and then weekend breakfast which has a bit of prestige attached to it (since breakfast is big on radio) alongside being super-sub, covering all of the weekday shows. He's also been able to grow his fanbase significantly from his stints on both slots.

Now he's on a death slot, too early to have much of an audience (who is up at 5am, especially at weekends?) and only 4 hours a week. Also not really a radio show any more and his background in TV is more behind the camera. Maybe he'll still get cover shifts though. I think he should get a panel slot on Sharon's show once a week, I reckon he'd be a good fit for that.

He definitely isn't happy. I wonder if he's regretting all his years of slagging off the BBC? That may present an issue with getting a job there!

Does he still do behind the camera stuff? I can't imagine being the producer for loose women for their Kim thing and getting that many complaints opens many doors.

A strong start , fixing a wedgie?

I think he was out of a job but something happened a few days before the new channel launch and his 5am slot was announced.

His name wasn't included in the first statements about the new schedule.

Who would take Cristo at this point? I think he's a good presenter. Honestly, he's definitely better than James Whale. Does anyone know James' listening figures and how they compare to Cristo's?

Kevin doesn't seem to be happy either if his Twitter is anything to go by - he went a bit OTT trying to promote his weekend shows last week and was insistent that he was ready for a new chapter but he's liking/retweeting a lot of posts from people who want him back on evenings.

I actually wonder what many of the people behind the scenes at Talk think about the changes.

At this point the most interesting thing about the rebranding is wondering who's bitter about losing hours and who'll be first to jump ship.

Sharon has already left to be with Ozzie now he's got covid. Says she'll be back next week, we'll see.

Are Sharon and Ozzy living here now?

Ozzie isn't, still in California. You'd think if Sharon was so worried about him and covi she wouldn't rush back and potentially expose him to another varient. Makes no sense her going back but also saying he'll be better in a few days so she'll come back to the UK.

Will her fee even cover the private jet costs?

Hmm interesting. I remember reading plans that they planning to move back to England because of California taxes. It's a big move obviously, since they've been in LA for a long time. I don't know, maybe she is paranoid about him catching it and wants to be there with him - not sure. I can't see the show being that successful though. Sharon is not that big of a name here any longer.
