Yes, 5am-7am weekends. Not the best slot but at least he's still on.
I can't remember what he used to have, but that feels like a massive demotion.

He left lbc after a few years apparently because the early morning slot affects your long term health. And now he's back to early breakfast.

He was on late weeknights nights, then switched to breakfast at weekends.
I think he only made the cut this time by the skin of his teeth.

Not sure I like the O'Sullivan change either. He's sharing Sat nights with Mike Graham which is good but then hes only been given one solo show 4 till 7 on Sundays.
His weeknight 7 till 10 was really good. He had some good guests on.

Now we've got Morgan and Osbourne taking his place.
.......... And Jezza.

Thanks, it sounds like it. They'll probably have a switch up in a coupe of weeks. As long as Ian Collins keeps his slot I'm happy.

Is talk radio effectively dead now? So they'll all call it talk TV? Maybe they'll eventually just call it talk.

Yes it's named Talk TV now.
Talk Radio has been plugging it all day.
Middle of last week they had announced pretty much everybody's schedule, except Christo.
Kevin O 'Sullivan on twitter posted his new timings and someone asked him, 'what's happening with Christo?' And Kev's reply was, 'ask him.'
Then a few days later it was announced he was doing the early early slot.
So I think he might have been going Unless he agreed to the slot nobody wanted.

Ian keeps his 1 till 4 weekday slot.
No change to Julia wotserface or Mike Graham. He picks up an extra show on Sat night with Kev. A bit like their Thought Police podcasts..... minus the swearing. ( If they can control themselves.)

I remember that Cristo was also very quiet on Twitter that week and then suddenly on the Saturday, he said he only agreed to do the early breakfast on the Friday night. Either they were negotiating or there was actually a good chance of him being axed.

Bob Mills is the only one who is outright gone (Paul Ross & Martin Kelner continue over at talkSPORT) - for an extra day of Trisha. Terrible idea.

I feel that both Cristo & Kevin are being under utilised but who knows, maybe they'll also appear as guest panelists on other shows? Obviously it seems like there wasn't much room for Cristo but I wonder if Kevin's style of communication might have been what limited him from being used more on the TV.

I'm thinking Sharon Osbourne every night will only be a temporary thing.
If Jezza Kyle is anchoring this show every night and every week, I wouldn't be surprised if we see the other presenters taking a turn some nights in the Sharon Osbourne chair.

We shall see.

Getting Trump on first was clever and will create interest in the show. But can it sustain it?
We shall see.
I switched The Talk off after a bit.
I'd had enough.

Tuned in this morning, far better than GBnews when it started off, it's a pretty slick production by the look of things.
Also noticed the clock on screen, I think there is a roughly, 30 second time delay on the simulcast.
I'm happy to get this on tv as we are in a poor DAB radio reception area.

It's all a bit confusing this talk radio and talk TV as they still call it talk radio at times for the same old shows. "Welcome back to talk TV, we're coming to you live from the talk radio studios" which I guess is to say it's just the normal radio first studio unless it's the couple of hours of new shows in the evening.

I wonder how long Sharon Osbourne has signed up for? I can't imagine her doing five nights a week for long. She wasn't even sure what the deputy labour leader was called despite Angela Rayner being headline news all day 😆

I thought James whale had been binned off, but apparently he's on "the talk" Thursday and Friday's.

Good idea to have an experienced broadcaster alongside Sharon Osbourne,

James Whale is ill, so I think they are keeping him on 'light duties' rather than sacking him.

I doubt Mrs Osbourne will stick around.
As you say she doesn't have the current affairs knowledge to anchor this type of show. She's strictly Loose Women IMO.

I've not heard much since his diagnosis last year. Hopefully with the meds he's on and his age it's moving slowly.

On their second day Johnson is a live guest, I wonder how long for? Labour or Tory Murdoch media always seems to have them in their pocket.

There have been a few occasions when Kev O'Sullivan stood in for him.
I suspect that's because he felt too poorly to do the show, and IIRC, he is broadcasting from home.

Interesting how they are having Johnson on, but he never went on Talkradio haha.
I doubt news corp thought it was worth them using their IOUs to get him on until they had something like a new TV station to launch.

What happens at 4am? Seems like Petri is on overnights for 4 hours but James max does a 90 min early breakfast. Was the last schedule like this?

Panel exactly the same as yesterday on Sharon's show except Tonia Buxton in place of Nicola Thorp.

Jeremy still doing the presenting.

So Jeremy Kyle is basically doing 5 hours? Is it a 2 hour show in the evening, right? Then he does 3 hours at drive time.
I think it's 1 hour on a panel and 3 hours the normal radio-like show. I bet he's happy for the work.

Listened last night and Kyle was going on that vegan sausage rolls are a joke, yawn. The 90s calls and wants it's opinions back.
