I think so. Probably will move permanently when TalkTV starts and they maybe simulcast some shows. The TV channel equally will give the TalkRadio team more presenter options as opposed to someone like Darryl who I don't mind but always felt like he was there to make up the numbers. I never really thought he fit in with TalkRadio and they only ever put him on filler slots.

It feels like a few changes are afoot, the first being Jeremy Kyle taking on Friday breakfast. I reckon she's going to be involved with TalkTV so is cutting down her days on the radio.

Mike Graham had another mare earlier. He was speaking about the jabs, but said if people are still hesitant to get all the vaccines, why can't they just have the third one on its own. 😄🤦‍♂️

Mike's not quite as on the ball these days, not sure why. I prefer it when he teams up with Kevin or does Plank of the Week as there is at least a bit of camaraderie there. I'd listen to his 10am show any day over JOB at LBC but it's gotten a bit stale with the same old guests and the crap filler segments like the Perrior Awards. I think he should maybe take a bit of time off.

He had that other mare a couple weeks back when he was talking to that insulate Britain member. Talking about growing concrete. maybe he needs a break.

I think because he didn't go see his mum has a toll on me. I can understand why I be pissed off.
 
James Whale has been trending on Twitter haha. A few people with blue ticks, especially that Adam Brooks and a few others calling him a horrible man and bully because he spoke to a nurse who refused the vaccine and he was being rude to her apparently. I haven't seen the clip, but James can be quite hardheaded with his opinions. He'll probably be the next to have to apologise due to outcry.

Whale and Adam Brooks have history - they had a bit of a Twitter spat a few months back that seemingly went on for hours, I think he was trying to get Adam on the show to do the usual "you're an idiotic anti-vaxxer, I'm cutting you off" schtick but Adam knew that was what he'd get and refused to come on.

Mind you, Whale isn't the only one to have had heated confrontation on air this week, I saw that Julia exploded at a Labour MP on Wednesday who tried to call her an anti-vaxxer:

Adam Brook talks a lot of rubbish. He wants it to be personal choice if people get vaccinated or not, which of course is what it should be. But he doesn't want it to be a personal choice of the government to get rid of unvaccinated staff, which of course again is their choice. You can't just knock something just because you don't agree with it. He keeps going on about covid not stopping you getting infected which is what we've know all along anyway, but doesn't seem to grasp being vaccinated makes you far less likely to die.

He goes on about natural immunity but many medics have said it doesn't last long before it runs out so him thinking he's OK because he's got natural immunity from over a year ago isn't likely. He moans about vaccine passports which I agree are a pain but if places want to see them even when they no longer need to see them that is their choice on how to run their business. Nobody is telling him how to run his.

One final thought he has over the course of the pandemic regularly talked up Karol Sakora who is on film from a few years ago bashing our beloved NHS and asking for it to go private. Not the kind of guy to be praising and he tweets a load of rubbish. I remember early pandemic when he thought it would be over by the summer.
 
Whale had Laurence Fox on yesterday, suddenly cowered away from his usual style of 'debate' and was nice to LF. I somehow doubt that would have happened had a member of the public with Fox's views came on the show.

In other news, not a bad result in the RAJARs for TR.

I get having a bit of a ding-dong with Kevin who is a more edgy type of presenter (and I do enjoy him for that style) but Nick is the nice presenter on TR, dunno why Whale is starting arguments with him.

I don't know why it's not possible to have a civil handover like all the other stations. James seems to be the only person who does this. It does get boring.

I don't mind James' show occasionally though, but I think on some subjects he seems to be in too deep and doesn't really understand things properly, which leads to him sounding a bit daft.
 
It was a refreshing change to see Andre Walker covering the late night slot tonight - more shows for him please. Put him in the weekends, give Cristo the late night slot back (with the occasional daytime fill-in) and Whale can either go or get a filler slot alongside the likes of Bob Mills & Trisha.
