You might be as well to visit a few different make up counters to be colour matched. A few will even give you a free sample, Clarins have done this a few times for me.
Also the Mac counters at Selfridges will do it too - they’re great because you can pay to book in for your make up done and although you pay for it, you get to use that value towards the purchase of cosmetics from the counter.
If I’ve a special occasion coming up and I’m running out of foundation, I’ll book in, get my make up done and then spend the value on a foundation- win win!

This might be slightly off topic but doesn’t any one listen to My Pod on Paper? I absolutely loved it last year I love Orlaith and I much prefer it to Love island the morning after. I seen that this year they are doing it behind a paywall which I was grand with and signed up and paid the €10, but the app/website whatever it is is the biggest crock of shite ever I have tried to listen to it several times today and I just ended up clicking off it in frustration it won’t work. And every time I eventually get it working if I click into another tab or leave my phone for too long it reverts back to the main Home Screen of the website and I have to try get back into it I think I might have to unsubscribe because it’s the shittiest app/ website ever and for €10 you’d want it to function properly. Is anyone else having this problem ?

This is the simpliest chart I could find to explain undertones. I am extremely pale but I have freckles so fall under neutral rather than cool. Regarding picking colours my advice is just to try on a range of colours in a shop (even if you hate the fit of it) just to determine the shade that suits. I swerved away from yellow for years and only discovered this summer it can actually suit me!! Just more lemon yellow rather than brighter yellow. Sorry if that's not much help but maybe others can advise better
