So I watched Zach and mollys most recent interview and I thought Zach was HILARIOUS. Love Island did him so dirty and made him seem boring when he has a banging personality. However, I had a little stalk of molly’s insta and everyone in the comments is mentioning how the other contestants are all commenting on her posts/ congratulating her whereas she never comments on any of their posts/ reponds to their comments/ or any comments for that matter. Really wanted to like her after that interview but the way she’s acting comes across like she thinks she’s above everyone else. Even not going to the after party ect… it’s just giving bad vibes

Molly just comes across very inauthentic. They talk about Mitch being an apparent super fan but Molly has been eyeing up the show since she was 17 years of age.

I can't believe how much Tom got away with as well I haven't watched it since but from what I remember he was very possessive and controlling of Sophie and I felt bad for her when the whole villa blanked her
Yeh it's awful, I've been thinking the exact same over the last four or five episodes. When we think of the men that have acted similarly on the last few series, Luca, Jaques, Ty, Tom is a whole other level. I remember severely disliking him back then and I remember why now.
I feel so sad watching it knowing she's no longer alive. She spoke to her Mum in the pod in the episode I just watched and it's heartbreaking seeing their bond and I wonder how her Mum carried on after losing her

Guys seriously I beg does Molly have her own thread I literally don’t think I’ve hated anyone more in life than I hate her and her stupid over the top facial expressions and constantly acting like she’s on high school musical , don’t even get my started on the sister - gives me the creeps that her family allow her to do all those videos on tiktok
---
Also. You know that scene in step brothers when the whole family sing in the car ? You just know that’s molly and her family on trips out
OMG or there's a similar scene in The Breakup where they're all sitting round the dinner table singing a capella. '

And ZACH! On the kick-drum! Come come! On the kickdrum!! Come ZACH!! On the KICK-DRUM! Now ZACH! Come come!'
the madness starts at 1.35...

Do you know him or know of him?
No , he's just really irritating in her videos

He's actually done nothing, he's just got such an awfully annoying face ...in her tiktoks...esp the family one where he pops up

Icl I do feel for Jax & Luca that their wrongdoings (& tbf they pretty much acted same as most 23 year old boys) have stuck to them a whole year later but people like Dami have turned their press around a full 180 (I mean, Dami was hated last summer but has actively worked on turning his negative image around - he’s online 24/7 whereas those 2 are not & not doing anything to create new positive headlines), so I wonder - question - if u were a guy on LI, would you want to be a main character with possibility you’ll get a bad edit & dragged online (partic since majority of viewership is female so naturally when a guy says /does something wrong, theres a public pile on whereas girls get away with more) or would you prefer to be a side character like Jay such that people don’t have strong opinions on you?

Reason I ask is I saw tiktok of a podcast Jay did & he said he was SO grateful he was a supporting cast member (not main character) so people don’t have a strong opinion on him. He mentioned how certain main characters in his year got it in the neck way way too much & it wasn’t representative of who they are IRL (only assume he’s referring to Dami, Luca, Jac since Davide got a good edit & Andrew was a semi-main character imo & also got a good edit).

I don’t feel sorry for them, I feel like Jacques and Luca have done questionable things since they left which is not helping them turn it around. Other than Dami doing that tweet with the N word (think I got that right?) he hasn’t done anything else bad as far as I’m aware.

Luca hangs around with that r*pist cretin Connor McGregor and does nothing to stop the hate Gemma gets for their break up a whole year ago.

Jacques had that whole bullying thing with Remi and that he and his friend allegedly assaulted him.

tbf neither Luca nor Jacques go on podcasts tho or do interviews or go online……so you never hear their side on anything. They just let things slide all the time. They don’t throw shade on anyone. Like, Danica dragged& dragged Luca SO BADLY recently in a podcast and it has been radio silence from Luca on the matter. I question the whole Remi thing since Remi was in there for 2 days and chats the most and Amber said it was cap and Dami is the only other islander besides Amber to speak about it and took Jacques side, but none of us have seen the full picture and there was no “bullying” shown including the argument between Remi, Davide and Jacques where productIon had to call Remi away because, as Amber said Remi was scaring the girls & Indiyah was never going to pick him after that. And I think the word “allegedly” is key here.

I just feel if you were a guy it would probs be best to either be a side character on a main series or a main character on a dead series like season 9 so no one cares about you enough to have a negative opinion on you but you’re still able to do the whole influencing thing.

Yea I don’t get the love for rapist Conor McGregor …but guys worship him. They really do 🤯🤯🤯🤯

At end of day, they just normal young lads, I think the hate is not fair on them - it’s like fair game.
Tbh I feel the same about Tanya from last season. I don’t follow her or anything & didn’t particularly like her on the show but just feel people need to give her a break.

Anyways, one of the points I was making is they get way way too much hate and it is not right. People cross the line way too easily & often. The things I read about them is just not right. People need to stand up to trolls more. Obviously it says more about the person writing the hate comment than the subject matter of it.

As the saying goes, if you don’t like someone text them and if you don’t have their number, then you do not know them well enough to hate them. Period.

Molly has been very focused on the career path she wanted ever since she started secondary school. When I taught her for GCSE she was very focused and driven. She was in a chatty class that were almost all girls, and she sat in the back corner and ignored everyone and got stuff done. She got one of the highest grades in the class, even though she missed loads of lessons for auditions and modelling work she was doing at the time. She has never been the type of girl to engage in drama/gossip, she is very focused and driven. I never expected her to go on Love Island, but it's given her a much bigger platform and got her name out there, which is exactly what she wanted to achieve! I'm not sure she will be bothered about missing girls holidays and catching up with other people from the villa, it's about business!
