Jess and Sammy Lorraine Interview (rough) Breakdown

I = Interviewer
J = Jess
S = Sammy

*opens up with an intro of clips showing Jess and Sammy’s arguments throughout their time in the villa with the interviewer talking about the couples “ups and downs” but how they reconciled “just in time to be crowned winners” (Jess and Sammy in shot shown to be laughing awkwardly at the clips)


I - Asks Jess how it feels having been in the villa since day 1

J - Responds that she loved the experience and opportunity

I – Asks how it feels now looking back and would they change anything

S - Replies they’ve spoken about this and that “everyone makes mistakes” but that he wouldn’t change anything saying that the show is about exploring options, but insists it was “Jess the whole time” and that the drama made them stronger. (Jess adds that nobody has a perfect love story)

I - Brings up Casa and asks 1) why were the girls so excited about leaving (screaming and laughing etc) and 2) how Jess felt when Sammy brought Amber back.

J- Says it was the excitement of a new location and a different setting that made the girls react in that way but that personally when she thought about it more deeply later she did become worried about the fact Sammy was single at the time. Adds that she stayed true to herself and put on a brave face when he returned in a couple.

I - Asks what happens in the villa besides what the audience at home sees

S - Responds that it was constant laughs all the time and that everyone got on so well, insinuating the drama was fabricated and twisted for TV.


That’s literally the bulk of the interview, Jess had her arm linked in Sammy’s the entire time and were both all smiles.It did seem a little scripted in the sense that they’d been prepped on what questions would be given and so they knew the responses they were going to give. I’d say it lasted about 5 minutes which I was surprised about, thought it would've been at least 10/15.

I'm still trying to get my head around how different it was back then! The stuff that was aired and the words that were used...as in more than one of the boys (Tom and Nathan) telling Cara and Sophie that theyre "behaving like slags".Can you imagine the backlash if convo's like that were aired today?

I can't believe how much Tom got away with as well I haven't watched it since but from what I remember he was very possessive and controlling of Sophie and I felt bad for her when the whole villa blanked her
 
Now tell me, what the hell does she know about true love???

Tom was AWFUL. I felt so bad for Sophie. & then for Zara when everyone was awful to her after the Alex incident (and Kady betrayed her trust) but were absolutely fine with him
 
Guys seriously I beg does Molly have her own thread I literally don’t think I’ve hated anyone more in life than I hate her and her stupid over the top facial expressions and constantly acting like she’s on high school musical , don’t even get my started on the sister - gives me the creeps that her family allow her to do all those videos on tiktok

Also. You know that scene in step brothers when the whole family sing in the car ? You just know that’s molly and her family on trips out

The first couple of seasons were much more entertaining but at the same time it shows how far we’ve come in the sense that it was shocking it was allowed to happen on tv. Kady was entertaining but so toxic and it sort of encourages that behaviour amongst younger people.
Makes me worried for what new big brother will be like

So I watched Zach and mollys most recent interview and I thought Zach was HILARIOUS. Love Island did him so dirty and made him seem boring when he has a banging personality. However, I had a little stalk of molly’s insta and everyone in the comments is mentioning how the other contestants are all commenting on her posts/ congratulating her whereas she never comments on any of their posts/ reponds to their comments/ or any comments for that matter. Really wanted to like her after that interview but the way she’s acting comes across like she thinks she’s above everyone else. Even not going to the after party ect… it’s just giving bad vibes
