I guess I haven't paid enough attention to it, to see that he doesn't retain eye contact :D Anyway, not at the end of yesterday's episode and still not the biggest fan of Jess. And I still think it was a weird question, and the way all the girls were stupidly giggling after she answered that the eye contact was good..
Yes, she just got friendzoned, and she is taking it really well, so fair play to her. I think girls have to understand that this fake look is getting old finally (that's just my personal opinion, and it could be just that he does not like her as such, not because of fake eye lashes and lips, and what not).

I comment this on every series thread so apologies for that but where are the worldies???? The bombshells are just not bombshelling and they haven't since about S6. I'm guessing it's because of the pushback that the islanders weren't 'relatable', but I just don't get it! This show at it's core is about superficiality, and especially now when the contestants are entering purely for exposure - they are ensuring that they behave themselves and not do anything that would be perceived negatively. We need an Alex Bowen, Kady McDermott, MAURA or Caribbean Michelle Keegan to get them to risk it all.

Atm I would say Tyrique is the only conventionally good-looking islander, but he's far too stush so I don't think he'll provide any entertainment at all - he certainly won't be chasing anyone.

Totally agree I feel like it gets worse in every series I’m probably the target age demographic love island wants to appeal to most and I would say maybe 3 of my friends are watching this year.

First look is up - I’d say Molly and Mitchel are doneso. He’s giving luca vibes and while she’s annoying I think she has a bit more about her than getting stuck into a dead couple this early on.

Objectively Dre is so good looking but seeing him in action, there’s something about him that is so awkward and un-self assured. I feel for him to have been described as ‘skinny’ as well by Catherine (?) ouch…poor dude

He seems a very young 21. Sort of self conscious yet full of bravado, like a teenager around girls.

Oh dear I don't why anyone would hate her. She seems fun to me. We'll see.

Hope we see and hear more of Mehdi as I love his voice so much. Deep with that slight French accent. If I was there I'd just ask him to keep talking to me. About anything 😂

Wouldn't be surprised if the new bombshell's an ex-islander 🤷‍♂️ There must be a reason they're cloaking his identity.

The viewing figures are tragic. Overnight TV has dipped below a million already. +catch up and streaming they'll be well below three million. Perhaps less than 2.5. Overnight ratings matter a lot to advertiser.. Apparently they're holding strong in the 16-34 demographic which is some consolation.

Zach's a reformed chubster.

Overall, an underwhelming cast. Most of this lot wouldn't cut it as casa filler a few years back.
