I absolutely agree on this point but I do find the incessant vitriol towards her really unnerving. Has she really done something so wrong she deserves this level of hate? You’re absolutely allowed to dislike someone, it’s a fact of life, but the way people are talking about her it’s like she’s committed a heinous crime. It’s exactly like Tasha last year who also did nothing at all bad but got untold levels of hatred for no reason.
Sorry this is so dramatic 🤣 I haven’t seen any genuine hate or vitriol - a lot of people just don’t like her. Tasha had it much worse and she’s doing fine, as will Molly when she comes out. It’s really not that deep.

If she was concerned about how she was being perceived then she wouldn’t have gone back in. People were saying when she came out that it would be unfair if she got put back in and that they didn’t want her in casa but she went back in anyway.
She is the molly mae/Tasha of this year and both of those came out really successful despite not being liked so much while they were in there

Who knows, think I’m on pretty safe grounds to say she will be nothing like as successful as Mollie Mae😉

That is your perception, and that’s absolutely fine. Maybe my judgement is clouded as I deal with incidents of bullying in my job role - and Reddit is toxic. I mean, who is so invested in a tv show that the Daily Mail are saying fans are threatening to boycott the show because Molly came back?!
“Tasha had it much worse and is doing fine” Does that mean bullying is acceptable to you because she’s fine now?
Anyone can not like anyone else and that is fine as I’ve said, some people just go over the top with it which for a tv show is really weird. If someone is so uncomfortable and shows such a dislike to one person, just stop watching it.

Exactly this. Let's not forget she's been out and seen first hand what's being thought/said about her, she knows how the public opinion is lying. If she was in any way affected she'd not have returned. She sees it as a sure fire way to celeb-dom, to finally have the platform to the presenter job she desperately craves.

Sorry but I'll never be convinced now that she's anything but fake. I don't like or dislike her, shes too blah. What I don't like though is the constant acting like she's doing the world's longest audition. I don't see any sincerity and I don't buy into the innocent, wholesome, preppy persona

I think she should be 25-35, people at that age are mature (for the most part) and ready to settle down. Not at 19🤦🏻‍♀️

Like most of us, I'd love to see the average age of love island contestants shifted upwards slightly but I think they'd struggle to cast it with the show how it is currently. The lap dance challenge, sex positions, 3 way kisses, whipped cream in the hideaway etc..I'm not saying older singles can't have/be fun but the tone is quite 'uni night out' currently. People in their later 20s would be more likely to have established careers and might not want to do that stuff on TV. The whole format of the show would need to be rejigged and who knows if it'd be better or worse?

I don't dislike her any more than for eg Sammy.
I certainly don't hate anyone in there tbh. Not like I did Faye.
I just wish she hadn't gone back in 🤷‍♀️ but I'd say that about any of them. She's got outside knowledge she can use to her advantage. I know this could be said of all new arrivals - but they haven't been talked about and interviewed, thus getting insight into what the public do or don't like about them.
Even if she had gone into a secret hideaway it would have been better than this.

Tasha was a goon. So is Molly. NEXT

Absolutely but just own it - it’s trying to justify it by making out like she’s the only one to ever go on the show to further her career or that her mother got her in there to make it seem like she’s done something to deserve it. Sometimes people are just annoying and don’t connect.
Why do you care so much though? You quote everyone who says anything negative about her like it’s some sort of bat signal 🤣 let people dislike her for whatever reason.

Anyway, I’m gonna ignore the Molly fan club henceforth and continue to think she’s a fake, theatre kid freak.

But why do you care 😂 it goes both ways. if you post On a public forum you’ll often get a response. Especially if the info being spread is incorrect ie her mam and itv. I’ve no idea who said that it’s one of the few things I think I’ve corrected people on - most of the dislike is just about her being a stage school pain which I can’t really say I disagree with.

Moving along .. Ty’s impressed by Dennis Wise, his bar is set very low🤫
