Is this the worst series in terms of withdrawl and missing a week (of course cant really be helped due to covid)??

We've had:

- Tom and Amy miss 1 week due to covid
- Ugo and Oti miss 1 week due to an injury
- Robert and Dianne withdraw from the competition due to Robert's health condition
- Judi and Graziano miss 1 week due to covid
- Craig miss 1 week due to covid
- Motsi miss 1 week due to covid
- Aj and Kai withdraw from the competition due to injury

I‘m absolutely gutted. Not surprised but so so sad.

I do wonder if this will change the outcome because from what I‘ve gathered a lot of AJ fans might not be voting for Rose so could that be the push John needs?

Gutter for AJ and Kai - to have done so well throughout and have to miss the final due to injury is horrible. The final will be a lesser place without her.

I am devo for them & for me because I loved watching the 2 of them and it just won't be the same. John doesn't deserve his place so no real competition for Rose

No need for that. John has been the most consistent performer across all the styles, and a great competitor.

I’m so sad for them! That is ultimate bad luck, for it to happen so close to the final.

I hope they’ll be there and they make a fuss of her. I know the finalists don’t normally get a ‘best bits’ montage but I think they should make an exception.

I genuinely think Tom will be waiting for a phone call asking him to do an all singing, all dancing routine…

I think Rhys should be invited back or it’s going to be a bloody boring final with two couples… He would’ve been there anyway if it wasn’t for Robert so it’s not like it’s unfair

Poor AJ. God, I hope this doesn't mean we get MORE Ed Sheeran.

True.

I mean right now its a sad tone as its just been announced and the final is tomorrow but in the grand scheme of things both AJ and Kai have got everything they could get out of this. They will always be strictly finalists regardless and they still have the tour to do as well.

Aj will have gotten a lot more exposure and will be offered a lot more presenting jobs and brand deals.

Kai got to the strictly final his first year and had a great season and impact. He may likely get given a Giovanni or Kevin Clifton path and always get given a more than capable partner even if he does not get that sort of partner next year I think this wont be the last you will see of him in the latter stages of the competition.
