To us on here it might seem underwhelming but to the general strictly audience the return of Aljaz is huge. His choreo was stale his last few years but he was still one of the most loved pros, it has definitely softened the blow of Gio leaving for the Beryl’s anyway

To be honest I think the reaction on here is very pro his return.

Most tattlers are beyond thrilled that his smiling , sunshine energy will once again grace the SCD dancefloor. Interesting to see how it pans out, I never believe in going back to an old job but that's just a personal opinion.

Tbf I think Beryl Nation is divided. Many smell a Deep State plot to erase the sainted memory of Gio with this inferior replacement (I guess Babac is BBC?)

I think it might give a boost to the others too, after all the negativity. I have no strong feelings one way or the other about Gio but I imagine he put himself first and wasn't overly bothered about supporting others.

I think Aljaz (who I love) has still been very much in the Strictly loop. Janette does ITT and comperes the tour. Most of the pro dancers are the same as when he was there, the judges, Tess and Claude. I think he will fit straight back in.

Oh dear, I thought this might happen. I suppose there are plenty of celebs who haven’t had the best experience (from not getting on with producers, their pro, judges ect) who might now come forward and consider making serious complaints. In my opinion there seems to be a grey area between actual unfair treatment, and just not getting on with your pro partner, which could get very messy. I’m sure there’s loads of couples who didn’t get on, and it now seems to be easy to throw around the ‘abusive behaviour’ idea

I suppose the 2 problematic pros that spring to mind are Brendan and James but its difficult as you say to prove whether you just clashed or whether there was wilful bad behaviour.
The focus may be on producers though and whether they responded to any concerns, how they responded and what they put in place.
If it turns out theres been issues for 10-15 years and producers never responded or acted on anything then its bigger than we realised and not just a FR issue.

Yeah, the vague way that most of that article is worded makes me think it's probably a reaction to being caught off guard by the Aljaz news and is mostly bollocks.

Like them sounding pissed off the weren't told about Aljaz beforehand and are trying to make out it's suspicious he wasn't announced with the other pros - I mean, sure. Like they were going to just throw him in there and be all 'oh yeah, btw Aljaz is back too'.

Not implausible that there are a few celebs out there now reflecting on their negative Strictly experiences and might have a case, but I dunno - would the more sensible thing to do be to wait and see how this Gio things pans out before spending money on expensive lawyers?

I have only skimmed the article but it doesn’t actually say more celebs complaining about pros just that it is looking at others matters and other individuals. I would imagine the BBC have been quite select into who knows what is going on with the investigation, so unless the source is from the other individuals raising a complaint, then I think this is just made up. Who knows perhaps it’s Gio complaining about the producers etc.
