Overjoyed about the Slovenian puppy returning! šŸ„°
Yes, 90% of his choreography is boring af but I couldn't care less! I don't give one single duck about the lineup stagnating or whatever. Kai, Nikita, Carlos, Jowita, Lauren, Michelle and Vito all joining in the last 4 years is quite enough refreshing for me.

Not sure how I feel about Alijash returning. He was my favourite back then but I feel even in a short time the show has moved on. Maybe the BBC wanted a bit of nostalgia for the 20th anniversary instead of injecting new life into the show.
The proā€™s need a big clear out so bringing back an oldie is a bit strange. Maybe heā€™s on duffer patrol.
One thing for sure Aunty Sara is on her way down to babysit.
 
Vito probably cursing now as Aljaz nailed on to get Patricia Routledge.

The show is probably happy to get some good publicity - all the headlines about Strictly are this which is good. (BTW what happened to the Aljaz-Janette-FR bromance). I looked and he hasn't liked any of their posts for a long long time

this is honestly how i feel. i get the cynicism about it but, imo, aljaz is a joy and his energy has been much missed. plus he is just absolute šŸ”„šŸ”„ obviously.

i canā€™t wait to have him back on the hidden mics yelling ANGEL BEAUTIFUL I LOVE YOU GORGEOUS while his partner stomps around in a circle šŸ¤£

That's what annoyed me the most about him, the loudness and mugging to camera. :mad: He was initially my favourite dancer and I think he is gorgeous (Shorty, narky Gorka couldn't hold a candle to him) so perhaps if he stops playing the attention seeking fool I'll grow to like him again.

Iā€™d be happy with him and Jamelia sitting at the side of the dance floor, a la Waldorf & Statler, passing acerbic ā€œcommentā€ on the ā€œstanding ovationsā€ that the ā€œproducersā€ have clearly ā€œmanufacturedā€.

Eh, I honestly think he's just like that and not putting it on for the camera. They only started posting the hidden mic clips in 2019, but you can see he does just as much chattering to his celebs during the dances years earlier than that.

That said, I can still understand finding it annoying. I love Graz, but I think I'd want to murder him if I were partnered with him. For some reason I adore Aljaz's babbling, but Graz's neverending litany of LET'S GO and COME ON would drive me insane.

Same here.
I was delighted to see his smiley face last night on The One Show. A real positive energy imo. Badly needed.
 
To us on here it might seem underwhelming but to the general strictly audience the return of Aljaz is huge. His choreo was stale his last few years but he was still one of the most loved pros, it has definitely softened the blow of Gio leaving for the Berylā€™s anyway šŸ˜‚
