I doubt he'd even be able to do that though, would he? Like, the BBC aren't breaking any rules, he knows rehearsals are filmed and it's their property to do what they want with surely?

I don't think there's a hope in hell of the BBC releasing any footage to the public; why would they do something that might tarnish the reputation of one of their flagship shows even further?
There's an obviously anti-BBC bias in a lot of press reporting, but the various PR-driven news stories from both camps in this situation are just making it 100x times worse.
 
Face it people, no-one is every going to know exactly what happened in those rehearsal rooms

Compensation, NDAs and carefully worded statements about overly enthusiastic rehearsals will be released and new policies put in place to ensure everyone's feelings are respected.

Gio will never darken a strictly door again. He'll turn up on IAC or DOI making veiled comments about people who can't handle the truth. And then in a few years, he'll join Brendan and Shimmy Jimmy on the legends tour (it's selling very well in Glasgow - I can't get a decent seat)

Amanda will go back to being a dramatic/problematic actress who's main issue seems to be that she can't get any acting roles since she broke up her mega rich baby daddy who wouldn't help her pay her tax bill. (One might have suspicions as to how a well known actress like herself can't secure acting work and ends up on Strictly - wonder if Mr Responder is behind that)

The BBC will be super sensitive about training - probably celebrities will only be allowed one try at dance in case they get exhausted.

The judges will award everyone 10s for every dance from week one.

They'll give out glitterballs to everyone who takes part.

And everyone will pretend that this "unpleasantness" never happened on a show were everyone is one big happy family and are only taking part to make friends for life 😉😉😉

Yeah that is clear. I guess this is Amanda's camp trying to get out that they want the footage out because it doesn't look good for him, and gives the lie to the lie that he asked for recordings to be made.

Wonder how long this 'investigation' will take. I assume that no matter what, FR won't be back. Just depends on how much dignity he's allowed to leave with (ie a statement saying 'moving on to exciting new projects' or a curt 'he's toast')

We know it will be the former as the BBC don’t want to taint their highest rated show. Just wish it could be dealt with quickly as I’m totally bored with it and want to know who’s staying, who’s new and which celebs basically.

we are going to end up finding out from the pros/ judges themselves! From that they have posted Shirley and Dianne are definitely back!

In reality the judges and pros must be returning (apart from Gio) otherwise they would be plugging new work they are taking on.
 
I'm guessing Toyah will get Vito. He'll be scouring 80s British music for some suitable post-punk themes.

I read on DS that Nadiya has broken her toe? Not sure if that's true as presumably would mean postponing shows?

They appear to be keeping going by substituting n with a spare dancer and she does the speaking bits only. A few disgruntled Beryls on fb. Surprised the press haven’t reported it. I was bored and checked sales of the tour, the majority are doing ok with the discounted tickets (£17 in several places) but London Peacock is still a bit dire despite £15 ticket offers that I’ve seen in emails.

I just don’t think Nadiya or Kai are established or charismatic enough to do their own tours. I just checked and with a discount code I could get a 4th row seat for £21 at my nearest venue and even the cheap price hasn’t tempted me 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m not a fan of Dianne but she has a big established fan base and I’m sure her tour with Vito will do really well.

Nothing on earth would drag me to any of the pros own tours tbh.

Actually that’s a blatant lie - if Vito decided to do an X Rated tour with Nikita I would go. To every show.
