I reckon Faye is definitely one of those making a complaint, I remember one of her stories when she was on the show, she was talking to Luba about Gio being very tough with her, Luba just nodded, wouldn't be surprised if Luba put a complaint in too, she used to tour with him before Lauren and suddenly stopped.

I think he dumped yer woman after a few weeks and then they 'rekindled' in late April, which, yes, would track. I think he absolutely did not want to be single when this came out. She is a fool if she believes his loved-up routine but I guess she's young.

Ranvir supposedly being involved gives me pause as she has kept herself absolutely separate from SCD for a long time so if she has made a complaint she must believe the Beeb seriously were at fault. The posters on DS and FB who say 'why didn't they complain at the time??!' The abuse they're getting now is why.

Indeed. As I mentioned up-thread, the abuse women get when they oppose or criticise a ‘nice guy’ is horrifying. We live in a deeply misogynistic society 🙁

I don't think any of the pros will publicly say anything bad about him, but I doubt they'll rush to his defences either

'But what did they expect...' um I don't know. Maybe to have a bit of fun, at worst, be tired and have sore feet but overall to enjoy the experience?

And don't start me on the use of the word 'tragedy' 🥴 in that context.

The irony being that he doesn't really give a tit about the programme and was almost definitely leaving anyway in December.

I am curious about his post-SCD plans, bar I'm a Celeb etc. There's a new travel show with Anton, supposedly, though of course if anything comes out of the investigation that is up in the air. The DM has a puff piece about his acting career, though it appear to have the same status as Aljaz's, ie. non-existent.

Until the investigation is over, Gio’s tv career might be at a standstill, as no one knows what evidence is being used against him. Although, I guess I’m a celeb don’t care if they have had Nigel F and Matty H on it - not saying Gio is anyway on the same level as them - just that I’m a celeb don’t seem to care who they have on.

I hope ladylav is ok if she hasn’t posted since Jan. I always wondered if she was paid to be a fan of Gio by one of his PR people. She seemed to know an awful lot about his schedule etc.
