I don't think Perri is necessarily any more trained than other ringers, but its the fact he's primarily known as a dancer. Layton for example had an acting career as well, separate to his theatre work. Ashley Roberts said she was a singer, despite having a lot of dance experience. I don't hate having ringers, but they'll never get a vote from me given that they've already got that experience.

Jowita’s ex Michael, he’s doing well in the Polish DWTS at the moment. He seems to get the hotties, Suzanne Jackson on Ireland DWTS is a beauty too ( they got to the final).

He seems like a nice guy, good for him! I can't get over the fact he completely copied her jive though :oops: (probably the producers giving him the choreography but still!). Didn't Ola Jordan use to judge the polish version??
Edit: Why are they doing lifts in a tango? Do other international versions allow for lifts in non-specialty dances?
 
They seem to recycle lots of Strictly dances in other countries versions of the show. I read on digital spy that DWTS Bulgaria have done a few recently including Layton and Nikita’s showdance.

I think perhaps they used to be; now I think it’s more a case of JG trying to fit the couple to an idea he had, a case in point being Molly R being randomly ‘sexed up’ for a Prince medley for her showdance after a series of twee girlishness.

The show dances used to be choreographed by the pro but over the last few years there have been a few comments about JG getting involved, to whatever extent.

There are a few similarities, but it's DWTS Bulgaria, not Poland that's completely copying routines down to the props and lighting.

Yes, lifts are allowed in all dances on most versions of DWTS.
