I’ve seen them both mentioned here and there so if they really want a married couple, would be a good fit. Would they get Kai and Nadiya though? Didn’t Kenny and Gabby Logan get Lilia and Darren? Or was it James and Ola

Just checked and Kenny and Gabby had James and Ola. Matt Willis is 5’11 so likely one of the taller guys he’s so would fit Nadiya. Emma is 5’7 so again probably one of the taller ones and not too short for Kai

Not sure Emma would be desperate to be paired with Kai though. I wish Strictly would sign up Giada so we could have her and Graz together, that would be a fun pairing.

Les was a bit worse than the average. The duffers usually aren't quite that bad. They're usually more like Krishnan's level. Last year's first eliminated was nowhere near as bad as Les. But yes, they usually try to make at least one contestant the 'funny' one, which can be varying levels of annoying.

Oh I think she was far from the worst there's been. She gave it her best shot. And she praised Kai a lot, as a partner.

I saw a clip on an old Gogglebox episode of, was it Jacqui Smith, now that was a duffer. Ann Widdecombe another. And there's another, oh yes, Susannah Constantine. 😁 Again, only saw her thanks to Gogglebox.

Tony Adams, on his first night, he was awful really, doing his absolute best but looked so terrified. Katya is brilliant, she got some very enjoyable routines out of him, and he worked so hard too.

Ever since series one and Chris Parker running around with a cape made the final, there has to be a comedy duffer, I think Quentin Wilson still holds the record for the lowest ever score with 8 for his cha cha.

Oh she probably had potential, but got ‘the fear’ , which made her freeze in that tango, and again in the dance off ( possibly the worst dance off I’ve ever seen, Kai was screaming at her to move, anything. Not surprised he burst into tears after)

I actually don't remember much about the dance off tbh. I like Kai though.
 
Yes, Tony's Tango in Week 1 was an absolute car crash, then by Week 5/6 his AS and QS were actually quite decent. Especially considering he really was too tall for Katya.

Just rewatched, dear god it's even worse than I remember. I thought he'd made it about halfway through before cocking it up, but nope. It all goes to hell within 5 seconds and he's staggering around like a drunk giraffe while poor Katya desperately screams instructions. 😂

It really is a minor miracle how good that Halloween QS was.
