I think though that it’s unfair to expect them not to post about each other - Ellie’s made totally clear they’re friends. If Vito didn’t post people would be ‘oh it was all fake they’re not even friends!’
I can’t imagine Bobby getting hate - he’ll be oblivious to it anyway.

They can post and they can post about how much they love each other but then they also have to accept the Elitos will be out. After Ellie’s post about saying men and women can love each other friends - surely they are not naive enough to think this won’t bring out the shippers. Hopefully from now on they will ignore comments.

I don’t think much phases Bobby. He’s pretty chilled and just coasts his way through life.
 
The Awareness of the Thoughts of Bobby does not trouble himself with online hate, he exists on a higher plane than us mere mortals. (He actually said he had Godly things to do 😆)

Ellie needs to stop caring about what people say about her. She had a fringe cut after comments about her having a fivehead, she stopped wearing The Scarf for a while after it got 'hate', and then she did that "men and women can love each other as friends" story in response to a few Beryls and Roys in her comments. Girrl just block them and get on with living your life.

The contrast between Fakey-Who sobbing hysterically into a teddy bear with one single dramatic tear, perfect makeup and dead shark eyes, over being nominated by her 'friend' she met a week ago, and the poor sweet, silly himbo actually crying, all red-eyed and wobbly-chinned, over having to nominate from that bunch of pricks was both top tier comedy and a little bit scary. Happy for everyone, especially Marisha and Nikita that they don't have to deal with her anymore.

Levi too. I liked him at first, but there's no way he's a nice guy with however many dozen kids it is who won't talk to him.

Just dickbag Louis left to go before it's only decent people left. I wonder how they'll manufacture drama then?

Obvs can't read his mind, but I'm guessing it was probably for one or both of two reasons.

1- he thought Ekin-Su was way more popular due her amount of followers, and thought gunning for her wouldn't work and would just put a target on his back.

And/or 2 - He had a nice, safe, bland, inoffensive reason for nominating Fern - 'she doesn't participate with group activities enough.'
He'd have had to come up with a reason to nominate Ekin-Su, and I imagine after seeing the way she unhinged her jaw and devoured Marisha (who didn't even give a personal reason for it) he didn't want to get on her bad side.

Poor thing looked like he wanted to die when she came in and tried to restart the fight with Marisha while he was sitting next to her. :oops:😬🙈:censored:

 
Ekin-Su appears to be Rose West, looking at Twitter, rather than a slightly annoying woman whose crime is being ‘fake’.
I saw the clip of Layton ripping into her on the late show, which seemed harsh. He also had to delete and apologise for retweeting something calling her a witch.
I long for Strictly and its controversies (‘why did Shirley randomly give a 10 in week 5 to that CC?’ ‘What IS that dress??’)

That tweet from Layton to an Ekin fan was unnecessary and vulgar, however he's besties with Munroe Bergdof who has form in vile tweets so birds of a feather and all that...he needs to be careful himself as all the goodwill he received off the back of Strictly could go south.
 
Did anyone see last night’s Drag Race UK vs The World? Janette and Aljaz coached the contestants in 3 dances (delightful, camp chaos) and Motsi was this week’s guest judge. A fun hour of nonsense even if you haven’t been watching the series! Motsi gave lovely feedback and one of the queens specifically praised Janette’s style of teaching, which was sweet.
 
Eh, I think it goes a bit beyond 'slightly annoying.' All the pathological lying and creepy mirroring/mimicking stuff screams some flavour of pretty serious personality disorder. People like that naturally put people's backs up even if they haven't technically done anything too heinous*, because they remind them of abusers in their own lives. She sure as hell reminds me of my NPD mother with the way she contradicts herself every other sentence with seemingly no awareness she's lying and that everyone knows she's lying, constantly picks fights so she can play the victim and can't handle not being the centre of attention at all times.

I don't agree with her getting violent/death threats or anything like that (though I've read a fair bit on Twitter today and I don't remember actually seeing any?) but people mocking her slipped mask - lol she had that coming. It's pretty hard to really hurt a narcissist's feelings anyway, they default to being angry that people aren't worshipping them enough.

(Disclaimer - obviously I can't definitively armchair diagnose her, but from a lifetime of experience with a NPD, I'd be pretty shocked if she didn't have something.)

*nothing too heinous is giving her quite the generous benefit of the doubt; I suspect there was an element of racism in her targeting Marisha to bully. I think it was really Fern she was angry with, who also nominated her and also let her know she saw through the mask, but thought Marisha was an easier target than a white woman.

Layton's still a head for that misogynistic (and weirdly heteronormative) comment to one of her fans though.

I think he was asking so many questions for fear of being cancelled and let's be honest people have been cancelled for a lot less offensive things.
He was definitely putting on a Jamaican accent when he first said it in the shed so to then make out he didn't realise the origin .... All that 'am I cancelled now' but grinning while asking ngl I secretly wanted BB to pull him formally on it.
Not his finest hour for sure.
 
I thought it was fine until he ran to the diary room to document his apology again - that was massively cringe and way too far. I don't think he was necessarily lying about not knowing the origin just because he said it in a Jamaican accent - he might have just copied other people and never thought about it before - but being so desperate about it was not a good look. I've seen a few comments on Twitter calling it suspicious and phoney behaviour and I don't blame them, it was a bit weird.

But for now I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that the stress of being filmed 24/7 while communicating in your third? fourth? language made him overreact a bit.

I don't think Layton ripped into Ekin Su - he just pointed out that she can't blame the edit, especially as she hasn't seen her edit. Ekin obviously thinks she's had a bad edit cos she's out.

His comment however was out of order. In terms of edit - we don't know what led up to Layton's comment. But he does need to watch his language. Layton's strictly journey gained him a mainstream audience. Its his choice if he wants to keep that audience.

I still like him - and some of comments he received were out of order!!!
