Everytime people are talking about AJ, I keep thinking its the wee male dancer, not the female TV presenter!!! Very confusing.

And as always I'm out of step with tattle cos i don't AJ the female presenter. Rather have her than a succession of bland blondes. Or worse, Josie Gibson or Allison Hammond.

Hopefully Dianne goes, dead choreography and you could hear her over the crowd on tour which was frankly embarrassing

I think nadiya, Karen and Luba could go too. I could see Nadiya potentially having another child in the not too distant future and she’s started taking up new opportunities, Karen looked exhausted on tour and Luba is under appreciated. They all are in fact. Think it would be in their best interest

I like Nadiya, and I want to see what she can do with someone actually good. She did quite well with Davood and that was her first year, when most pros struggle the most. She's never really had a chance since then so I'd hate for her to leave without getting a ringer just once. She also got a fair bit of improvement out of Dan.

Karen and Dianne are the only ones I wouldn't be sad to see leave. And Michelle, I guess, since we know nothing about her except that her favourite food is boiled eggs.

I didn't particularly like AJ when she did the show, I thought her dancing was a bit overrated, and I never really felt too invested in the AJ/Kai partnership. But other than her voice being annoying af I don't mind her. She seems nice and I don't think she's that bad at hosting? I'd prefer it was Rylan of course, but eh, she's alright.

I'm 50/50 on Nadiya - apart from her first year, I feel like they've really given her a raw deal always getting men in their 40s or 50s with dubious dance skills (and Lee Ryan). I do have to wonder what the deal is with her because whilst the height excuse is used often, she could have had any of Rhys, Tyler & Bobby - young contenders with a actual shot and she got none of them. Could have even got Nigel, albeit he's still in the older age bracket and fit well with Katya.

But equally I didn't really miss her when she was benched last year. She's a great dancer but I think other pros are more dynamic and make better TV. I also don't fancy her chances for another partner this year with Lauren proving such a hit, they'll probably prioritise her over Nadiya.

I think you are right and Lauren will take priority on the tall men from now on. She obviously has great teaching skills and ability to bring the best out of what, on paper, was a duffer.
Nadiya doesn’t really have that ability, plus her choreo is as lacking as Dianne. Apart from some of davood’s I tended to use her as my tea break, especially when Dan was on ( really find him annoying!). Dan seems to be the only one she’s clicked with in a personal way ( I think he goes out with her more than Kai does).
I’d keep Luba and give her a ringer this year, so she can show what she can do. Her choreo is excellent and she’s shown how she can make the most of someone like Adam.

As much as I could not deal with the 5 hours long shows, and judges yelling for 20 minutes after each dance style of some of the European ones, it's interesting to see the judges have the opportunity to give some actually useful hands-on help/demonstration sometimes.

I would love to see this on Strictly. I'm really interested in the technical stuff but with no dance knowledge/experience I don't always understand the feedback. It would be great to see demonstrations so we can understand more, and then see the improvements. They could fit this in by cutting down the VTs that literally no one cares about.

We kind of get demonstrations from the judges via Shirl’s creepy little shoes. I missed those shoes last year.
Yeah but it's not a regular thing. It would be good to see more demonstrations on the live show, or instead of seeing the pairings doing silly things and having dinner with each other's families in the VTs, we could see more demonstrations from the judges and choreographers. The show is just getting a bit stale and I'd like to see more dancing and less shite.

For me it wouldn’t be strictly without the cringy VTs. Would like them to not do so many and include a little more training footage but the cringy VTs are kind of part of Strictly now, along with Tess, Claudia and Craig. They are also good use for a loo or drink break.
