I know this will not be popular but Johannes crying all the time does my head in. He’s a lovely man but can’t be doing with cryers.
I think you are right and Lauren will take priority on the tall men from now on. She obviously has great teaching skills and ability to bring the best out of what, on paper, was a duffer.I'm 50/50 on Nadiya - apart from her first year, I feel like they've really given her a raw deal always getting men in their 40s or 50s with dubious dance skills (and Lee Ryan). I do have to wonder what the deal is with her because whilst the height excuse is used often, she could have had any of Rhys, Tyler & Bobby - young contenders with a actual shot and she got none of them. Could have even got Nigel, albeit he's still in the older age bracket and fit well with Katya.
But equally I didn't really miss her when she was benched last year. She's a great dancer but I think other pros are more dynamic and make better TV. I also don't fancy her chances for another partner this year with Lauren proving such a hit, they'll probably prioritise her over Nadiya.
As much as I could not deal with the 5 hours long shows, and judges yelling for 20 minutes after each dance style of some of the European ones, it's interesting to see the judges have the opportunity to give some actually useful hands-on help/demonstration sometimes.
Or when Anton asks The Lady Captain to stand up and help him.We kind of get demonstrations from the judges via Shirl’s creepy little shoes. I missed those shoes last year.

Yeah but it's not a regular thing. It would be good to see more demonstrations on the live show, or instead of seeing the pairings doing silly things and having dinner with each other's families in the VTs, we could see more demonstrations from the judges and choreographers. The show is just getting a bit stale and I'd like to see more dancing and less shite. We kind of get demonstrations from the judges via Shirl’s creepy little shoes. I missed those shoes last year.
